• Later as in "you're almost two weeks late of giving me my question," later.

 • Do you believe that the precursors could have beaten the forerunners if they had decided to fight back? Support your opinion with facts.

 •
Do you believe that the precursors could have beaten the forerunners if they had decided to fight back? Support your opinion with facts.
Now I know most the Precursor story lies within Silentium, one of the Halo books I have yet to read. But from what I know I believe that they wouldn't have won. The Forerunners had numbers and the technology to match those numbers (to the best of my knowledge). And didn't the forerunners find a way to imprison the last Precursor at Charum Harkor? I have no idea how they were able to overcome the race that created the Flood, but I see it as very much assured that one will succeed the next, just as humanity did with the forerunners.
I have no idea how they were able to overcome the race that created the Flood
If you intend to read Silentium, I suggest you don't click on the spoiler.
1. The Precursors arguably are the Flood. In Silentium, the Flood's origins are described as mutations from Precursor remains. 2. Although the forerunners were powerful, the Precursors also didn't fight back; they supposedly were too awed by their creations (Precursors seeded life in the galaxy).
