You're assuming I want to waste an exotic slot on those, which I really don't want to do. Long story short, Hammer of Sol cannot be countered unless you want to change your whole setup to specially counter Sunbreakers.

Right, cause there are so many exotic armors for Stormcallers. All you need is an Invective or the New Monarchy shotgun and sit behind a corner, then double tap them it works for me and I never change my build.

Well, if you don't want to change your setup, no one's forcing you to. Nor is it necessary. It's simply a more efficient method. But if you wish to engage Sunbreakers without changing your setup, no problem. While Ionic Blink makes it a bit easier, it's not needed if you're good at maneuvering around your target while using Stormtrance. I've done so on a number of occasions. Just gotta jump and move around them in a circle, making sure to stay behind or to the side of them.
