[i][url=http://i.imgur.com/8l0V2VR.jpg]Imperial Frumentarii.[/url][/i] [spoiler]Serving as a common Militant Arm of all three Ordo Majors at once, the Imperial Frumentarii are elite special forces, considered to be the drawing line between Imperial Guard and Adeptus Astartes. Humans in nature, all of the Frumentarii have been genetically, mechanically and cybernetically enhanced and improved, almost to the point of being considered Skitarii of the Adeptus Mechanicus. But not quite. These exceptional soldiers get to retain their humanity as a symbol of unity and strength, tying themselves more towards humanity than actual Cybernetic change. That is why soldiers to be put into the Frumentarii program are hand picked from nothing but the most elite of human forces. They could even go toe to toe with a Space Marine, but still have basic human needs. They select to retain such needs and impulses as again, a way to link themselves with their human identity, choosing to repress these needs on their own rather than through implants and genetic modification. They are equipped with thematical wargear, leaning more towards the Melee approach, their special Frumentarii armor enhancing their speeds miles beyond anything of the armored category. They also come equipped with certain ranged weapons, such as plasma, laser or ballistic weaponry as well. Their power spears are comparable to those used by the Ordo Malleus' Grey Knights, built along the same idea. They mostly operate in tactical operations, avoiding all out warfare, preferring to deal with enemies in quick strikes.[/spoiler] Frumentarii Praetor: [url=http://i.imgur.com/mEN7qUU.jpg]Lord Garcia De Wynter.[/url] [spoiler]Being the leader of the Frumentarii is no easy task. But it is a necessary task. Garcia De Wynter, a man born on the imperial world of Regloth, has lived his whole life around militarum assets. Born in a family that expected high from him, he had a rough life of relentless training and battling. But when the Frumentarii program began their recruiting, they turned their eyes on the man. Changing him, making him submit the first versions of their various types of upgrades and enhancements, he became a bit of their Guinea pig, a subject of their experiments. What came out of the labs was a different man. A different person was born on the operation table. The operation had been a success. And so began the Frumentarii. De Wynter wields a terrifying power fist, covered by the signature Frumentarii experimental void shield. He also possesses a variant of Hotshot Lasguns, one that is combined with strange Tau Xeno tech.[/spoiler]
