It was annoying & all, I only got two days in IB as I was away from Weds to Sunday with my wife for a friends wedding. I still managed to reach rank 5 with my primary & almost rank 3 with my secondary. I didn't get a single item drop that wasn't blue. But it didn't stop me from buying the pulse rifle from Saladin. I was much more annoyed this afternoon when I spent all my strange coins on exotic engrams & they all came out as Crest of Alpha Lupi, two for Hunter & one for Titan all at 290. But as annoying as these things were I have no delusions that Bungie will make it up to us in any way. Even a half hearted apology seems unlikely. The most we can hope for is that it won't be too long until they manage to fix the bugs that caused these problems. Saddest thing is that if these bugs benefitted the players they'd be fixed within days & anyone who used them would get a temporary ban or some kind of slap on the wrist. But they don't. So if we're lucky the drop rate for the next IB will be improved & the next hot fix may sort out the engram issue but until that's confirmed I won't be wasting my time buying anything from Xur. The only things worth buying from him at this point seem to be glass needles & heavy ammo.
