For the entirety of year one, Bladedancer was the best PVP subclass without question. Best mobility, best evasion, best grenade, top tier super. etc. Bungie made significant nerfs to the subclass in patch 2.0 and it brought the subclass back down to earth. Now you are probably better picking Gunslinger or Nightstalker.
