It depends, i used a 310 jade rabbit to infuse a 298 apple of discord and now my apple of discord is 308.

On another case, infusing a 310 ToM into a 295 DO scout rifle took it to 307. So yeah. Can anyone clarify?

It looks like you get more when you infuse an exotic into a legendary.

Yeah perhaps. I might do some testing on this with maxed weapons and non maxed weapons.

I infused a 310 crest of alpha lupi into a 302 raid chest. And It went to 308. Maybe how far the infusing item is leveled is how much progress it gives?
