So question? Is there a reason oryx didn't drop anything for me last night when it was my fresh run since refreshed I had plenty of smoldering shards as well. And since I completed the raid on normal last night does that mean if I do the hard mode tomorrow that I won't receive any loot

Yeah you would think they would up the light on our drops prior to the hard mode release. 3 runs on each character and all i have to show is a ghost with +1 light. Thanks bungie, glad im prepared for the fight now!!!

I wanna know what happened to the "rewards we need for our characters." Last run on my titan i got two sets of gauntlets that were worse than what i have already. Stole my shards and gave me one set of armor

You were not alone, it happened to a few in my party as well. The loot tables for normal mode are completely FUBAR.
