I would like to preface this by saying that I'm a Mythic member so my words are more important. Everyone knows this (or at least they should). Moving on... [b][u]Using an Ammo Synth[/b][/u] Current process is as follows (assuming you're in the heat of battle): 1. Find safe place. "Am I safe?" Check. 2. Push "Back" button. 3. Wait for menu to come up. 4. Push "Right Bumper" to access "Inventory". 5. Wait for Inventory to populate. 6. Find Ammo synth somewhere in between the dozens of other items. 7. Press and hold X to use ammo synth. 8. Back out of menu. (That doesn't even include reloading or changing to a weapon with different elemental damage.) When you're done with all that you are likely to experience some of the following scenarios: [b]A --- "Shit! I died? I thought I was safe! How the f.... oh yeah Taken enemies are more versatile and mobile."[/b] [b]B --- "Okay... Just gotta reload and I'm ready... Shit! My teammates already killed everything."[/b] [b]C --- "Wait.. The boss is dead? Shit! I didn't even use this ammo. Shit! My precious 3oC![/b] [b]D --- "Okay, synth used. Shit! Heavy ammo must've dropped while I was in the menus".[/b] So we have identified a barrier present to all users of this "program". A possible solution would be to hotkey items to the directional pad (I don't need to have the option to sit down at all times), or your wonderful UI specialists could use the system similar to tracking quests where we could "mark" an item for use and then access it within the Ghost menu.
