I am not sure if it worked, but check out some of those screenshots for basically insulting those who perform beyond well in
crucible. Much pvp work done in vain.
-edit- I never said bad performers should receive nothing. This is about incentivizing trying during pvp more often.
-
All players should have the chance at getring good loot, but the best loot should be reserved for the top of the scoreboard
-
That's why I always play like I have no arms. Gotta get those pity rewards somehow.

Edited by julianwelton: 10/29/2015 9:50:08 AMPeople who only like pvp get screwed reward wise (I'm a pve player). I would change the system to as follows. 1. The top three players get a guaranteed reward. 2. The top player on each team gets a higher chance at a legendary drop. 3. The bottom three get the same chance at rewards they get now. P.S. My loot table for Crucible would be (blue engram, legendary engram, legendary crucible gear, 5 motes, 5 strange coins, 5 marks). Legendary drops would still be rare (slightly less rare than they are now) but the top player on each team would have a higher chance at a legendary drop.
-
you know the obvious idea? why are there not crucible streaks like strike streaks that increase your legendary drop %age ?> would stop more people from quitting and reward more time in
-
I feel.
-
Oh look at that, the guy who went 2 & 20 & lost us the game got the only legendary engram
-
ya I remember that....I got 36 kills and 8 deaths. my reward. jack shit :p
-
Keep the random rewards the same as it is now but highly increase extra rewards on top of that for top 2 players of each team maybe. Sick of topping the leader board and getting either nothing or something worthless.
-
I almost feel like you are penalized for doing well, thats how bad the rewards are consistently for top finishers
-
Trials?
-
I only picked yes because when i do good i dont get anything......
-
No please understand most pvpers don't want rewards to correlate to your performance that will drive a lot of people away from crucible and its not what we want. What we want is for our time in PvP to be acknowledged and rewarded we want a crucible buff that increases the chance of an legendary with every match if you don't go to orbit just like the one the vanguard strikes have. We want to invite new players into crucible so they have another way of getting end game gear We also want to get gear that actually useful to us Trials gear should be the only PvP gear that should give us max light since its harder to get iron banner gear should only drop at your corresponding light level and regular crucible gear should drop no higher than 300 that's what we the pvpers want
-
Only winners should get Loot tired of losing teams getting exotics for being losers
-
Pls no, the rich get richer. The gap between good and bad players would be bigger.
-
that's a lot of screen shots haha. It's rng man I know it sucks but that's how it is. I totally think everyone on the winning team should be rewarded, that would be awesome. I'm not saying reward everyone with gear. remember when we had crucible marks? it would be cool if everyone on the winning team could get a couple legendary marks, after all the matches are pretty long.
-
They patched it a long time ago so that top people will get better rewards. that lasted about a week and the game reverted back to its old self
-
What lord shaxx says at the end should depend on your performance. I'm tired of him saying he's disappointed in me when I get 30 kills and 5 deaths
-
The first and last options both apply in my case.
-
And you would say the same for people who play PvE I suppose? I agree that top players should have a better chance. But that's about the gist of it. PvE is no different in their rewards.
-
There is already a weekly PVP event that rewards the best players... It's called Trials of Osiris...
-
Top two positions should be guaranteed legendary, with remaining 4 spots stay rng like they are
-
This is how I think it should be... 1st place - guaranteed rare reward, 75% chance of legendary 2nd place - guaranteed rare reward, 50% chance of legendary 3rd place - guaranteed rare reward, 35% chance of legendary 4th and beyond - 50% chance of rare reward, 10% chance of legendary You would still see games where the guy on the bottom gets a legendary and everyone else comes up with nothing. But they'd be much less frequent. Last 5 games I played a guy on the bottom 3 got a legendary engram and everyone else got either a rare item or nothing. That shit shouldn't be common.
-
Edited by Zoom In: 10/28/2015 6:14:47 PM1st place player on both the winning and losing team should always get something, and everyone on the winning team should always get something. The top players shouldnt always get the best rewards so theres still that mysterious rng side to it, but they should always get something regardless.

Players that pretty much carry the team should be awarded. You can see by my PvP KD Im not good at the whole Crucible thing & I think good players should be rewarded. Now I've actually been getting better but saw an instance of the phuckary that is RNG when IB was here. I had actually been doing really well throught IB going positive on pretty much all games & even being in the top 3 sometime & that was good enough for me......than my last IB match ended & I was at the bottom of the scoreboard. Guess who got a Nerwins Mercy drop? Yep, thats right me. Was I happy? Hell yes, was it fair to the players that secured our victory? Hell no. That weapon should have went to one of them. Just my opinion though.

Maybe up the chances of legendary engram or shakers and emblems for the top two of each team. But keep RNG for the others. But on the same topic jus the cause you are top doesn't mean you are better. I've seen people who capture and hold bases in control. End up not giving many kills to the enemy team. While those going out for kills end up dying as much as they kill. So maybe a higher chance. Maybe more chances the longer you stay in.

We need more loot in addition to any performance factors. It is better now that pre-IB, but still a famine.
