Why Destiny is failing, long read an all IMO
This is all just my opinion please add if you have your own opinion I'm open about it all. It's constructive.
Halo 5 is finally a game with a OP story and multiplayer.
Destiny is no different then a gambling addiction and they take advantage of it from the drops to the sounds even.
There is absolutely no loot table or weapon farming. Everything is just a random act. Luck there or here. No dedicated drops its bullshit.
If I want the telesto I know it drops from strike brothers red brother at a 1% drop rate. Okay now I can farm and have something to grind for.
Instead of just grinding in general WISHING for anything.
Horrible game mechanics when it comes to this loot system. Repeat drops. RNG. Invective. Invective. Invective. Wait for it. Invective.
Boots. Boots. Boots.
Strange coins. Strange coins. Three of coins. 280 legendary.
This games future gets dimmer everyday. No foreseeable future DLC. No long term plan explained to players. No active fixes. We wait a week every week to hear the "news" on shit we don't care about.
Patches and bugs don't get fixed as soon as possible. Priority patches are different from the community priority.
Nothing new after a year. Reskin this reskin that. Oh we can look forward to a new raid that makes the other 3 then pointless along with the gear. Oh new weapons we have to rely on luck for instead of a dedicated loot table.
Destiny's life is at 80% and is dropping everyday until it will flatline mark my words.
Ubisoft the division has stated "What they learned not to do for their game from DESTINY. They will be a actual RPG FPS unlike destiny.
It's the same shit every week that it has been. Without anything new people are gonna get tired and bored and move on. Not in one night but halo 5 will take some players. Fallout 4 will take some. Star Wars battlefront. Call of duty. The division. Will all take some players. When you add all those up it will be a dent. And then bungie will notice. Hey our shit sucks. Time to step it up.

there won't be a open world multiplayer shooter until The Division, who pushed their game back an entire year to make sure it's properly developed. no game has made a significant dent to Destiny's fanbase because none of those games were sandbox shooters with a strong multiplayer element. i know personally I can't wait to find a game that captivates me like Destiny does. im getting more burnt out every week, i'll be taking a break when FO4 drops and the slew of backward compatible games coming this fall.

Destiny is "failing" the players because it has NO consistent vision other than making quarterly profit benchmarks. This game has been fractured since development. Activi$ion demands a "cash cow", not a first rate gaming experience. Those developers that demanded a first rate game jumped ship or were forced out. Bungie executives sided with Satan (Activi$ion) and sold out their own product and staff. This leaves players with a limited content game filled with progression retarding roadblocks and an endless grind for non-existent loot. The Bunglevi$ion answer? "Buy our Emotes (throw money at your screen) so we can trickle out some "free" content "sometime" in the future. Bungie "promises" are much like diapers. They frequently change and are generally full of Shite!

I haven't played destiny in a month or two and I am 300+ and I do have a touch of malice I have everything i want but this game just got boring and repetitive

Not gonna lie destiny did rob us of something we were expecting to get but, one who is smart would wait for reviews before buying something yeah. But let's talk about the reason why things don't get fix very fast, have you ever considered the gear they have to use. here's a demo of the easiest thing they can do with it, if you want to move something in the environment two inches to the left, it takes 8 hours to load which is normally done over night for time's sake, then (if the thing didn't crash) they move the node then under go the compiling process which takes about 15-20 minutes. even then they like to wait til reset because the system doesn't have as negative a reaction as it would if you were to fire it up on any other day. Now that you're better educated, why you here? If you genuinely don't care about this game why come on the forums and say "these other games are going to kill destiny" (when they aren't, take BO2 for example) and whine about things, oh wait, that's it. you're here because you can't get that thing you've been trying to get. Well that's RNG for ya. quit your whining and get back to playing the game you say you hate.

I didn't know it was possible to killed after gaining the immortality bubble off of the vessel of oryx but apparently it is because it happened but oh bungie fix the black spindle first it's way more important

2 RepliesMy BIGGEST issue is the company only talking or updating players ONE day a week. Every Thursday its either bullshit or shit polished to look nice. People are still complaining about nightfall rewards. Raid rewards. People don't want to be handed shit like a baby but don't make the reward for our time patiences and humbleness a garbage reward.
