Three of coins - cooldown time very probably up to 30 minutes..
had a bunch of them left and tried them out since the reset:
30 minutes cool down time: 1 out of 4 gave an exotic engram,
15 minutes cool down time: 1 out of 12 gave an exotic engram.
thats quite remarkable.. even without any notice from the developers.. wasnt like this before the NF patch..
what are your ratios.?

4 RepliesAt the first week of the coins I was aware about the drakis farming E I E I O God I bought so much 3 of coins I don't know how many I got the first week over 120 I think I got about 20-25 exotic drops just crazy So last week I was curious aswell so I bought 70 three of coins and just ran strike after strike So after using all of the coins I ended up with 12 exotics I will be buying 70 three of coins on Friday again and will run drakis over and over to see how many I get Give me a bump so I can put the results up cheers

I don't even know anymore man A buddy and I were doing regicide. Killed the cabal, he got one. Popped a 3, killed the ogre, got another one. A different buddy went a week and three nightfalls without one. [spoiler]RNGesus can be a dick[/spoiler]

For whatever reason Taniks loves dropping me exotic engrams. Anyway, I did a Taniks strike got a drop, did one more strike and got nothing, then did one more and got an engram. I truly think people are pinning their bad RNG on a so called, "Ninja patch" by bungie.

Edited by TeddyBundy: 10/22/2015 8:40:51 PMI did Valus with one ToC. He dropped nothing. I started the strike again with another ToC and the game put me right in the bossfight. He dropped two exotic primary engrams. It was 2-3minztes at max.

3 RepliesI did draksis the old way with suicide every time but just allowed a 5 min break in between each run. Exotics dropped every 5 to 6 runs. So the cool down doesn't seem to be that long

I got one every 2 or 3 every 20 minutes or so. Could of been a half hour. When i didnt get one my friend did. Did it by myself today and only got 1 out of 4 in a half hour

2 RepliesUsed 134 and kept track of all uses/drops. I use them on everything from patrol to raid and strikes and use a new one as soon as the buff went away. For strike I guess I avarage 10 min between ultra kille. All of these used after nerf. Avg: 5.8 kill per drop. Shortest amount of kills for next drop: 3 (two times) Longest amount of kills for next drop: 9

I used 43 ToC on 43 strikes between Wednesday & Thursday and received 1 exotic engram. 290 warlock gloves.

I got 2 from 30 and then suddenly I done one Taniks strike and got 2 drop off him. Only popped one coin

I feel like they change it before any update I was getting lots of exotics now I haven't had one drop

8 RepliesI once popped a three of coins on the shield brothers strike, killed the first brother and didn't get anything, popped another 3oC and killed the second brother and got an exotic engram. I have no clue...

Before the nerf, 1 in 5, now after the nerf it's nearer to 1 in 10 if I am lucky

Personally I'm of the opinion they nerfed them again. I've used 10-15 of them and haven't got shit when last week I would have easily gotten 2 drops out of that many on the same character.
