What a joke 310 recommended light for HM raid
Well done bungie, you set the recommended light level for hard raid at 310, but drop everything at a lower level, to say i am fuming is an understatement! I am ready to walk away from your broken game once and for all, 3 characters have run the raid every week since the raid began and my highest level is 308, 3 raids this week and the highest level of anything that droped for me was 304, so basically 20 legendary marks, which i could have got in ten minutes doing my daily's and im not even going to go into what i got on the nightfalls, but hey you really listen to the community!! I know it is the recommended light and i will beat it at a lower level but you can just see it on the forums now "new fresh raid must be 310 light and know what you are doing"! for once bungie sort your broken game out,because i think people are starting to have enough of your Bul**it!!
EDIT: I can see that some people have agreed and some people have disagreed with this post which is what a forum is about, for those insulting me and being quite generally vulgar, you really have got problems, although i suspect that you go out of your way on a daily basis to try and get a reaction.To those people i pity you, as you really must live a sad existence.To those of you that disagree but have left a valid comment thank you, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. To those who have agreed, i feel your pain and hopefully HM will remedy this. EDIT 2: As someone has rightfully just pointed out to me, the recommended light level is between 300 and 320 so i am wrong and apologize for my mistake. Peace :)

I went into the raid at 269. It is not that big of a deal being below 310.

Your forgot a star when you said bull or forgot an l, but anyways all hardmodes have been too high light lvl to be attained so this is normal.

I mean even if it was only 310. It's supposed to be hard and us being around 305 and the raid being 310 is no different than how crota was. For hard crota we could only be 32 and the raid was 33.

Crota was a full level above the cap, I wouldn't worry about the "recommended." Just get a bunch of 300+ and give it a shot.

2 RepliesNeed the right team, enough time and a lot of luck. I've only had time for one completion, but it was epic and blessed me with the pulse and RL. The team were amazing, talking me through the jumps, then being organised on the final part. Shooting at stuff is the easy bit!

You will start off lower and with any luck get the Harrowed drops and lvl itself up during the raid

4 RepliesMisconception entirely. Pretty much 1 level difference. 310 is recommended but i haven't seen any 310's while doing the normal raid and i've done about 18. Highest light i saw was 309, a decent raid team all 300+ would be able to do it i'm sure. It's also been said it get's harder as you go along so providing people get good drop's along the way people can get higher light gear. I don't think it's an issue myself, it's just like saying 300+ only for normal when a good 295 can do just aswell. Might be a slight damage decrease but if that person can hold there own then there shouldn't be a problem. Destiny isn't a difficult game i find it quite relaxing but it's just when i come accross obnoxious douchebags that i lose my head. Just one example we were at the warpriest with 1 fireteam, a 308 joins and obviously knows what hes doing but also very obnoxious and arrogant and think's he's better than everyone else (yeah ok) after a small mistake we had to wipe and he left straight away. I think light level doesn't matter as long as the person know's what there doing and don't die. Obviously when it come's to oryx or the daughters then 310 will make a huge difference but let's see.

The loot system has betrayed most of us. I main a hunter and its 308, I ran my 301 Titan through last night, war priest nothing, ogre chest piece at 307, sisters shotgun at 303, and oryx hereafter at 310 and chest at 304. 2 chest pieces both from the same raid, when I am currently using a 310 lupi chest. I'm ,of course, gonna play hard on my hunter but it's going to get better with drops by the time we get to oryx anyway, so I'm not fretting.

5 RepliesI started the normal raid at first at 264 light. And ended up beating oryx that same raid at 282 light. So don't fret, it'll work out. I do agree the drop system is incredibly broken.

Dude recommended light for normal was 290 but in reality u just need to be 280. Im sure as long as ur 300 ull be fine. Im 306 on my main and 300 on my least leveled guy and im not concerned

It's supposed to be hard, you did Skolas at 34 when it was 35, you did Crota at 32 when it was 33, those levels weren't reachable at the time, at least with hard mode Oryx, you can reach 310

3 RepliesMaybe you should delete this post instead of continuing to troll the forums since you concede bungie's weekly update stated the recommended light starts at 300... Having a tiny edit at the bottom is not adequate and just creating more negative attention.

Im 308 and think im good for now. If loot drops are good, then i will be past 310 with ease by the time we reach oryx.

Well, Kings Fall Normal is 290, even though up to the Warpriest is 280 light
