How do Elites eat/bite?
I was just wondering how on Earth do Elites eat or bite?
Because they have four mandible-like lips, but they don't have a lower jaw!
So if they eat, their food will fall of of their mouth.
If someone knows the answer, please tell me.

No! Elites use their Energy Swords to chop up their food into tiny winy pieces and then use the sword as a fork and eat it with their mouths wide open. Which equals in it being yummy. =P

on the original Halo 1 elites the lower mandible was connected much like the predator, there are still four but when the mouth is closed the two lower mandibles closed. why they changed the design, I don't know, but they did... Ha Ha Ha wow this is a really good question, but i dont think bungie really thought about elites eating habits lol, or anybodies. I have never seen any halo character eat or drink before, which is odd because its a necessity of life, but ya never see it.

They eat their food whole, tearing it with their hands and mandibles into reasonable sizes. Keep in mind that they're aliens and probably don't use the same kind of fuel we do...

I like to imagine that they eat like Zoidberg, from Futurama, simply forcing their face over their food and simply sucking it up, but thats probably not true...
