Does psn go down a lot or are people exaggerating?
I'm just curious because I might get a ps4 and want to see if it's worth buying ps plus

I feel like the ones saying it goes down a lot are just experiencing different issues that don't relate to every single user. A few months ago it wouldn't let my friend play his downloaded games though for whatever reason for example.

It doesn't go down enough for it to be a problem as big as most people make it out to be in my opinion.

The only time I've had trouble was with Lizard squad, and both platforms were affected

I've not had any issues with it in months and I play a lot I'm more likely too have a 4hr cap on my internet speed lol

Last time it went down for me was at Christmas time and Live was down as well. It does take Sony longer then MS to come back online though

No it Barely goes down, Xbox fanboys just try to make it look bad, the only time it goes down is when it's done for maintenance which isn't very often

PSN does not go down as often as some people claim. There are two instances that stand out for me. The first major instance of PSN going down was back in 2011. PSN was down for one month. The second instance was last year on Christmas Day. Any other time PSN goes down is probably for server maintenance. And that does not happen very often.

And when you try to it says new update available. You will know when psn has a whole is down. Heck. Last time I remember psn actually being down was that whole lizard squad thing. Don't remember it being down since then.

I haven't had any problems since Christmas, but that may just be the frequency at which I play online

Hasn't been down for me in a long time. Mind you I don't play as much as others so idk.

It goes down very rarely. Can't remember the last time in fact. I do remember 2 unscheduled outages for some hours earlier in the year. Only bad outage was at Christmas, but that was due to the same attack you no doubt experienced too.

I have absolutely no idea what some of these people are talking about. Christmas was essentially the only time it's been down for me, and we all know why that happened.
