Eirene vs. 1000 Yd. Stare
Okay, before answering, the question is my 1k stare equipped(Titan) Or should I stay with the Eirene I have? My Eirene is 310 right now and this 1k stare as you can see has not the best roll. Which do you think is better? I see so many people love 1k stare but is that with god rolls?
I love both so if it was me I would keep the 310 Eirene for now, but if even my 1k gets overwhelming reviews I would make the switch. I never have time to test dps or anything so let's see what you all think!

Edit 1: A lot of great points here. Thanks for the feedback! It's a close one, but despite what the vote says I think people are leaning towards mr Eirene because of my 1K stare's roll lol. Also I think it is true and we established the impact stat for Eirene is deceiving and the DPS is the same. People have tested it out which is awesome.

3 RepliesI do like the Eirenne but I can hold 24 rounds with my 1000 Yard Stare vs the 19 rounds with the Eirenne. The very small increase in impact doesn't warrant using the Eirenne over the 1000 Yard Stare.

1 ReplyIf you want best dps The Eirene from a few weeks back. It has the same RoF as the Stare, however more impact and even LitC with still good stability. Its pretty much the non exotic meta sniper. ToM/NTTE and Eriene is becoming boss dps meta.

i felt the eirene was more like icebreaker, it hits like a truck but you have to re aim every shot, 1000 yard i felt was smoother like an efrideets spear, i ditched my eirene and kept 1000 yard just my two cents

The eirene Rr4 is better for bossing and larger enemies, especially with luck in the chamber for that extra damage. I saw some people saying the extra rounds the stare holds makes it better, but that really isn't the case. You will probably not run through all of your ammo while bossing, which would be the only reason you use up a lot of ammo fast. You will be able to pick up more ammo and the bit more impact makes eirene better

I love my rr4. I have a 1000 ys with each burn as well. Currently partial to the rr4 though. To each their own.

1 ReplyPersonally I prefer eirene as it has less aim assist,thus I have more control on what I want to shoot and not have to worry about the damn sights being thrown when something runs past.

1 ReplyBoth of my Eiriene and 1000ys have triple tap. It comes down to scopes for me,for pvp. But for pve the Eiriene has higher impact and with the triple tap it's gg for raids
