I listed the maps that I find being poorly designed. In my opinion these maps rewards a destructive play style. Getting around these maps is very tricky due to narrow hallways that will be watched by enemies "hardscoping" these areas or someone waiting behind the corner with a shotgun.
Making creative plays can be very difficult. Its often just stand off sniping or battleing the same corridor the entire game with shotguns as soon as you spawn in. I often find that alot of area on these maps are barely being used throughout the game.
There are maps that I like. Bannerfall, Shores of time, Widow's court, Firebase Delphi, Black Shield, Frontier. Etc.
I find myself having more fun on these maps. Better line of sight, alot of the map being used, more variety.
Note: These are just my opinions, I'd like to know yours.
Let the voting begin!
Edit: The reason I didn't list Cauldron or Anomoly is because I like those maps in the 3v3 game modes. Again - Thats just my opinion in my thread.
Have a nice one Guardians.

Anomaly is a shitfest
-
Blind Watch isn't an option This upsets me

3 RepliesShores of time is in my opinion the best map so far

I hate pantheon.... But most of all black shield which isn't on this list. Pantheon is crap because of the sniper areas and super bottleneck areas. Plus Pantheon has the most exploitable spawn controlling points of all the maps.

4 RepliesDafuq? Why do people not like Vertigo?

I dont like twilight gap that much anymore
-
Cauldron and Anomaly are trash. All those map fine.
-
I hate sector 618 because it is such a small map and u can only use some specific types of weapons to excel
-
All non vanilla maps are trash
-
2 RepliesI despise frontier I feel too open, like I cant move in on a kill without another enemy coming up behind me
-
Virtigo. Shotguns.... nothing but shotguns.
-
I have a harder time thinking of a good map than a bad one ffs...

Blind watch
-
Vertigo and memento are on the top of my list.

1 ReplyHas anybody played anomaly lately?? It's my favorite map and It hasn't popped up since before TTK
-
First light or bastion, cauldron and anomaly come I second

The only map I have issues with is The Anomaly because it's THE MOST claustrophobic map! You can't really go anywhere without bumping into either a teammate or an enemy player (or, you know, a group of them) And if you're using a Rocket Launcher, you have higher chances of killing yourself than you do an enemy player because of how small all of the areas are. It's worse when doing Control because the Zones seem to be so close together. The only upside is that you can see your enemies from right across the small room (the room with the giant heptagon) so it's excellent for Sniping, using Hand Cannons and Scout Rifles.

To me all these maps are the best

Twilight gap is a great map for any game mode , no reason for it to be up there . Btw I hate all the moon maps there the worst for any game mode

Edited by PsychoticHumor: 10/22/2015 7:42:49 PMGreat poll I like how you included all the maps /sarcasm I really hate Thieves Den the most overall what a terrible idea of a map But some maps are worse in different gametypes, like Anomaly in Rumble ugh even though I love other variations Trying to think of a bad control map... Rusted Lands? Seems like anyone with A flag wins and B is a constant death pit. I don't mind it though, a good team will always win Edit: I love Pantheon always, same with Twilight Gap and Shores of Time. Great maps all around

Edited by Quadlog: 10/22/2015 7:40:44 PMI can not stand sector 618. I just had a decent 20-5 control match (still lost) on it but I just loathe it. It's a tie between pantheon and 618 as the worst maps.

1 ReplyI don't understand why everyone has such a vendetta against Vertigo. It can be a pain sometimes, but if you use the flanks correctly there can be some interesting battles.
