No quest for NTTE after reset.
You're really going to make those of us who got the ghost yesterday wait a week or more to get started on this quest?
What a joke. It's like you guys look for ways to piss off your playerbase.

1 ReplyThe last time Paradox was the daily the forums were full with threads about the secret. It already was speculated back then that this might unlock a quest line for possibly an exotic gun at a later time. All those that said to themselves "I'm not going to do this just for a few grimoire cards and a ghost to give to Lakshmi" can wait a little longer I assume :D

I don't enjoy this type of thing. Couldn't really get on last time it came around. Couldn't log on the day Sleeper came out. I did get Black Spindle on day one though. I don't like that it's not a [i]skill[/i] check. It's just, you better play every single day, and be in touch with the community. This is why I quit playing FFXIV. I don't want to play a game that forces me to log on and dedicate a minimum of 2 hours to doing the same shit I've done a million times. Might just be me, but other games are coming out and I'll be moving on. *shrug*

1 ReplyAll I see in the comments is how people had to wait last time they did the mission. What people aren't pointing out is that every single person In the destiny community have waited 5 weeks since taken king launched to have a shot at it. Now that the weapon is available people have to wait another week on top of the 5 weeks that it took to have a shot at the weapon. I like wait walls but not a whole week. It takes the excitement out of completing a hidden story that leads to an exotic

4 RepliesBump! This time-gate thing needs to go. If they must time-gate for some reason then it should work just like Sleeper Simulant and be available the day after you have completed the prerequisites for the main quest. This is kind of infuriating. It's like Bungie is looking for a reason to piss off the player base. Was this the internal conversation: Dev1: the players need to have a sense of accomplishment when they get a quested exotic. Dev2, you got any ideas? Dev2: I know! We'll have them complete the first part of the quest and leave them totally hanging as to what exotic quest or other quest they could have possibly just unlocked. Dev1: I'm with you on this. Go on. Dev2: So, after that we let them run around looking for the secret to continuing the quest without knowing that we have yet to patch it in and finding it is impossible. Dev1: Wow! Clever! So we would then just make them wait till the next patch or weekly reset when we do code moves? Dev2: Exactly! Waiting is fun! One time I had to call the IRS during tax season. It look four hours but when I got someone on the line I was overjoyed and filled with a sense of accomplishment until the IRS agent pretended she couldn't hear me and hung up. Dev1: You always have good ideas Dev2. Lets get this patched into production ASAP.

3 RepliesIf there was a story aspect justifying the delay I'd be okay with it. In terms of the story, is there a reason that 1) this alternate line to the mission is only available when it shows up as a daily heroic and 2) that Lakshmi-2 withholds the follow-on quest until the mission shows up as the daily heroic again (or until the weekly reset occurs)? Without tying the delay to the overall story somehow I agree that it feels forced and put in simply to artificially extend content.

1 ReplyTo be honest you should've done it the last time. This is why I check the forums on a daily basis Afew hours after reset to see if there is anything new. The only timegate guns in this game that are stupid are the ones that make you wait for armsday (First Curse for example). Check the forums more often then maybe you would've had the quest now instead of having to wait. [i][u][b]My Opinion[/b][/u][/i]

Just when fwc has the quest for you. That mission was a daily prior before yesterday and I did the secret quest for it and turned in the cult ghost so that's probably why I got the quest before people that turned it in yesterday.. For those that did the daily today there is no confirmation on exactly "when" you're suppose to get the quest, it's all assumptions from here on out. One day in the tower there will be a marker highlighting to go to fwc. You have to pledge your allegiance to fwc and the quest will show up right after.

I actually got the quest today on my Titan. I never even got the ghost on my Titan. Plus today is the day after the quest.

During the day the quest and stuff was available ( the paradox daily) I did the secret mission in paradox, got all the memory ghosts, beat the Minotaur boss, looted the chest, got the ghost, and nothing happens, I had already been pledge to fwc for weeks, she took my ghost and no quest... Nothing. What did I do wrong?
