If we're talking PvP buffs for Defender, I don't know how to make it relevant, buff the bubble's health?
PvE on the other hand, I still think it's the best support subclass, Ruin Wings + Iron Harvest and you might as well roll the end credits.

Y2 Helm of Saint-14 should've had a perk that ANYONE who steps in the bubble is not only blinded but suppressed.

Or just make that a passive bubble perk. Like one guy pointed out, Titans shouldn't need a helm to get full viability out of their super

Make it impervious to supers maybe? Not like I can kill anyone with my bubble...nor does it protect me.

It seems pretty pathetic that it's a Super, yet, it's outclassed by every other Super, maybe just slightly annoying them.

Though it loses to other supers, it actually makes up for it by basically trading a super for a super. You can survive FoH or NB with the ward, but you have to position yourself accordingly.

See I agree with you in a sense. But my bubble isn't a threat, idk why anyone would waste their super to pop it. How do you position yourself? I never survive attacks on my bubble :( I get your point, I'm just a little butt hurt bc it's my favorite super and it feels useless in crucible 90% of the time, to me anyway.

Well, my defender is pretty overpowered... but run a shotgun with it. Any radiance warlock or arcblader coming inside will drop to a shotgun beatdown faster than they can kill you. If you see a fist of havoc, you can step out behind your bubble and you'll live. Same for Nova Bomb. Just be ready to run in case of aftermath/vortex, or jump in case of shockwaves. Defenders rule rumble and Salvage by the way. Just going by my own experience. I've gone unbroken as one quite a few times.

I'll try your suggestions. BD usuAlly shockwave me from out side just like Psions :/ maybe I need to practice with it. I don't play those modes often but will try. Maybe it doesn't need more health, but I feel it could use some buffing, possibly what you suggested. Thanks for the info guardian.

Bladedancer shockwaves were nerfed and can no longer go through the bubble. Which was why they damaged it so much. It was hitting it, going inside, and hitting it again from the inside. It'd take an entire super's worth to destroy a ward now.

Well that makes me feel a bit better. Can the damn Psions still launch a shockwave through?

Not that I'm aware of. I think all shockwave moves were modified.

I don't think the bubble itself needs any buff on health. I think it's good where it is since it causes other supers to trade to destroy them. The suppression upon entering would stop Mobile supers from rushing it in, making it an even better defense. In PvE that'd mean wizards and cursed thrall who come inside can't explode or attack as well.

I didn't even think of auto-suppression in the bubble, though, I think that'd fit better as a perk on the Helm of Saint-14, along with it's blind.

I like to think that it shouldn't take an exotic to get full viability from your super.
