As we near the release date for Halo 5, we hear more depressing news about the game. The launch of halo 5 will have 7 multiplayer playlist. Great 343! Bravo.... You deserve a reward for being retarded. 7 playlists at launch? Really?! And the playlists we will be able to play aren't even that good. We also hear that the game will have micro transaction. Not surprising since practically every triple A game has to get more money aside the $60 plus tax we already have to pay. Just like destiny. Yeah, that glamorous game everyone likes to defend. The game that -blam!- are wallets and is still adding high priced dlc AND micro transactions. Listen kids micro transaction is cancer to the game industry along with season passes and day one dlcs. If I payed $60 for the base game I should not have to pay more for stuff that should have been in the game in the first place i.e.
Updated: Destiny. Any type of micro transactions is bad and the ones that give you an upper hand in gameplay is even worse. The guns sound like they were recorded in a bathroom i.e. The battle rifle. It was a huge step back from the sounds halo 4 had. The boosting around and shoulder charging is stupid. Supposedly the story mode was not great. I have watched the story on YouTube and I can say it did not live up to the hype.
Typical fanboy response: listen douche you don't have to buy it.
If buying an item in the game that no one has yet will give you an advantage over the other players. You're trying to say you won't buy it? Well that 12yr old sure will. I'm not sure if halo 5 has this type of transactions but it still has it.
Also i see alot of people bitch that the story didnt have alot of chief. Listen just because chief saved planets and glaxies doesn't mean you should play as him in every halo. Thats like every naruto game that comes out i should just play naruto. Give way to new characters. "oh chief couldn't be evil he saved galaxies" lies superman became evil a couple of times. I can count on one hand. But it goes to say that he can be evil.
Fanboy: buying req packs matches you up with people with similar req packs.
Well expect long matchmaking then. 343 did not solve anything with this Halo so expect bad or mediocre reviews. I have seen the feedback. So comeon, let's be honest guys, Halo 5 is going to fail.

4 RepliesAT LAUNCH are your key words here. More playlists will be added down the road. The only thing that can cost money is buying REQ packs for Warzone. That money goes towards Halo tournaments. Now, let's say a 12 year old decides to buy a gold REQ pack and gets a nice looking scorpion. He/she activates it and starts rolling out to dominate the other team once their req energy allows them to. However, Lo and behold, someone who has grinded Warzone and didn't spend a single cent on REQ packs has a Wraith that completely destroys that 12 year old's tank. It's a gamble that you hope pays off, but it's all fair because someone can easily destroy what you got in a REQ pack, or kill you and steal it. 18 free multiplayer maps are coming to Halo 5 for free post launch, including a continuously updated Forge mode. Free of charge. This is a huge game. I don't see it failing at all, sorry.

I disagree. The micro transactions in halo 5 are not pay to win, because how the match making works is it puts people with the same/similar req cards together. This means that if some scrub buys a load of legendary req packs, chances are i/we will not play them unless we have too. I disagree with micro transactions, but halo 5 has done it in a tasteful way to make it not pay to win.
