Like it is supposed to, in one of the TTK trailer, it clearly showed that it had Arc element on it.
That is wierd.
Is it really it for this weapon? I think not.
EDIT : Heres the true No Time To Explain! WITH ARC ELEMENT!

QcGzeno is totally 100% correct on this one the footage released from the game informer article CLEARLY SHOWS and ARC indicator next to the ammo when the NO TIME TO EXPLAIN is equipped and is being fired. My personal theory about this is that the gun is simply not finished being upgraded (which is why it looks that god-awful puke-green color and the sights are all hazy and unfinished-looking) I think there will be another "quest" that will open up here in the future (...SOON) that will have something to do with playing a new mission that involves the stranger in some way, and we will go about fully assembling the strangers rifle WITH the arc burn that should go along with it. For those of you who doubt this just think of the Necrochasm... it'll be kinda like what we had to do with that. The description on the strangers rifle says "Ghost's analysis suggests this weapon has been exposed to incredible forces... and parts of it shouldn't YET exist." I think this quest is us building the strangers rifle in the "future" with parts that didn't yet exist at the time. OR Gungie -blam!-ed us again and just decided to change it and leave it a dull gross green color and remove what would have been only the second primary gun in the game with a burn on it....

4 RepliesThat's not the no time to explain, the no time to explain is green and the one in the video is full yellow
-
U need to buy the arc damage via silver

Edited by SERAPH-X7: 10/22/2015 12:48:36 PMSo they changed the color and took out the element, friggin Bungie and their "Subject to change" BS all over again. This was probably saved footage from before the original story was scrapped but decided on releasing it for TTK promotional purposes. Maybe not but it feels that way...

That voice though..extra nerdy

5 RepliesEdited by arcadecrash: 10/21/2015 12:54:01 PMTess will sell the burn next month for 500 silver, 50 weapons parts, 50 hadium flakes and 20 musty shards.
That's the week after they add the emote for handing someone a tissue. It's going to be called "there, there you salty bitch".
-
And bad juju did void damage, you realize they change these things right?
-
5 RepliesYou've got to ask yourself, has not having elemental primaries really been so bad at this point?
-
19 RepliesEdited by pcap_pirate: 10/21/2015 2:19:56 PMLOL this dude that made this video is a joke that was the old strangers pulse rifle the no time to explain is a forest green color, how do i know? Cause i have it! And if this was a legit video and not some kid trying to be a youtuber he would have show it in inventory with the arc damage and no it doesn't have arc damage!
-
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this
-
16 RepliesI think they decided elemental primaries were tough to balance, neither the raid primaries or adept Trials primaries will have elemental damage. ZhaloSupercell is the only TTK elemental primary in the game right now
-
Can i get the quest today if i did the heroic yesterday and didn't get the quest??
-
4 RepliesI don't have time to explain why this gun is beyond broken and why mine is 310 already lol mhmmmmm Ty lord
-
When they get critical shots in the video, ammo is not restored to the mag. I guess they just changed it.
-
4 RepliesTis why data mines should be taken with a grain of salt.
-
2 RepliesDude the strangers rifle had blue energy swirling around the barrel, it did kinetic damage. I'm not really sure what point you are trying to make
-
4 RepliesPlans change... ; )
-
I don't have time to explain why I don't have no time to explain
-
All I'm saying is that the Supercell being the only elemental primary currently in TTK....
is bullshit
10 RepliesEdited by Smith5084: 10/21/2015 1:00:30 PMHas Arc energy swirling around the barrel... Shoots regular bullets... Makes sense.

Ask again later
-
3 RepliesI have a hunch that soon there will be a way to change the elemental damage on any gun. Everyone remember the fire thunderlord?
-
It's on my Zhalo, deal with it scrub

1 ReplyIt's on my Supercell

I thought the same thing
