Came up with a better solution, my original post is in the spoiler, original title was "why not just remove the graviton helmet?"
Title. Nobody cares about the rolling ability. Instead of taking away an amazing ability in your subclass you you could've just removed a piece of armor temporarily, I don't know about every other Hunter but I would MUCH rather be able to tether more than one ogre during oryx in the raid (especially with hard mode coming soon) than be able to be a rolly-polly and have keen scout... The problem was with the helmet, NOT the perk
Edit: IDGAF about shadow shit in crucible
Edit: no clue why I didn't think of this until now but why not just make quiver not work if you have the graviton helmet on? That way you can have a choice until they fix it

1 ReplyI care about the roly poly and keen scout
-
Well done. On a side note my horse has bolted from the stable, should I close the door?
-
1 ReplyOr make it so you can't pause during a super. You shouldn't be pausing while supered anyway.
-
5 Replies"Easy temporary fix for quiver..." That the whole problem, Destiny has become nothing but a bunch of 'temporary fixes'.
-
4 RepliesJust do this instead https://youtu.be/DLzxrzFCyOs
-
3 RepliesDude the blood bound perk is 50x better anyways
-
They could just copy paste the use on quiver from GG. This would be a buff on normal quiver function but still remain about the same.
-
All that complain about the fact there are fixes to the glitch beyond removing quiver don't know how hard making a game is
-
I mean they are on different perk trees. So you can have both quiver and shadow step without the helm. And it's a temporary solution while they fix the problem with the glitch
-
Just make it you can't pause while supering
-
1 ReplySince when do armor pieces disable class perks? That don't make sense.

Edited by OhhVela: 10/21/2015 10:17:30 PMNot an amazing ability at all

10 RepliesOnly 310 helmet I have. Gfy
-
Too late, they took the perk out without checking with you for your input.
-
3 RepliesWhy not just make the player unable to go into his/her inventory during a super...
-
1 ReplyMaybe I'm new to this, but what does the helmet do with shadowshot?
-
Simple. Taking away the helmet would effect people's light level which is a big deal considering hard mode is friday
-
1 ReplyDon't you suggest to those overlords to take away my helmet. What's wrong with you?
-
1 ReplyHow about Quiver shoots 3 smaller shots like the Nova Bomb perk or the tri bolt attachment in bo2 That would solve the problem and give Shadowshot a little more help

1 ReplyEdited by Diab3ticBatman: 10/21/2015 4:49:40 PMYeah it's kinda crap thing for bungie. I'm getting pretty done with this game cuz all they seem to know how to do is patch shit that negatively impacts the player experience. If it's something that makes the game worse they leave it in for months on end. They have released a beta. No testing team, no quality control, just here's what we made, pay for it, and when you find the bugs we will slowly try to patch them over the course of a year. I played eso for 3 months and was surprised how fast they updated stuff, and the forums always had moderators posting just about everyday attempting to help the player base and keep them updated. Talking about upcoming patches or troubleshooting with people, or saying the company was aware of the issue and working on it. In this game you hear nothing for weeks to months on end, and when you do hear something it's "we are nerfing this until we can figure it out in a month or two". Seriously bungie was on fire with halo, but at this point I am kind of happy that the good developers from bungie stayed with halo and the bad ones left to make destiny so that bungie wouldn't butcher that as well. Maybe it's because I've been here since day one, but it just gets ridiculous after awhile. Especially when we have to suffer because bungie is too money hungry to actually ban those who are screwing it up for all of us. "They're paying customers, so we can't ban them".
-
I'm sure they tried disabling the helmet first, or while trying this. It might have come down to the helmet Nerf effected light level, disabling quiver didn't
-
3 RepliesYour last edit would've been a way better opinion for the thread instead of blaming Hunters who actually use the helmet appropriately
-
You sound fat.
-
Maybe that would have messed up other things. Or maybe take way too long to program. It's not just flip a switch and they can make whatever they want happen. It requires a lot of work to program something into a active game
-
4 RepliesIn response to your edit, that makes sense but is that quicker than being lazy? Its bungie after all.

1 ReplyI can't finish the multi kill shadowshot quest line until Quiver is put back in.... I dont have the helmet
