BUMP this if you HATE TimeGated content/ quests
Just did the daily and realize I can't get the quest for no time explain until next week. Wtf bungie
Edit: I don't mind new quests popping up, in matter in fact I love that . But I should be able to do the quest when I want to not wait a week nor making the requirements for a quest on a certain day.
Edit 2: Planet destiny talks about this in their podcast and pretty much sums up what I said I love that new things pop up in the game. But I should be able to do it on my time . keep on bumping

Once again it appears to be a complete lack of a clue...all they have to do is run these similar to a NF in that they are weekly events, not part of the dailys...or at least have them as a separate list that will be available at different times...tying them to the dailys with no way of knowing when they'll show up is just artificial grind.

Time Gated content needs to be accessible on the WEEKENDS and needs to last two days instead of one. I have a wife, 2 kids and a career. I don't always have time through the week to play so for people like me it makes a lot of these activities not viable. I really don't think takes anything away from the quest to give 36-48 hours on it and to do em on weekends so people who work and have families can play too.

They just need to make them a little more weekend friendly, when you create a post saying "bump if you HATE time-gated content" Bungie will just look to not continuing it. I think it is a great way of implementing new content. Half of the posts I read here are saying how people hate that they have to wait "two separate arms days"? I would hope at some point as a child you were taught patience? Instant gratification isn't ever necessary. Sorry you don't get what you want, when you want it

Bunp! But just saying that without timegates hardcore players would get every gun of TTK in less than a week, that why bungie is using timegates events, so people will constantly play Btw i hate timegates

1 ReplyCan't over look weekend players. I've heard complaints that they can't get the BS because they work hard on week days. I'm not a weekend player just vouching for them. They should have a way to help them get it too. Like a light Lvl 300 mission.

I like the fact that we're questing for our new exotics instead of waiting for RNGesus to let them to drop (for a lot of people, that just plain doesn't happen with some of the best stuff). Anyone who can rise to the challenge can have it, instead of the guy who rubber-banded his thumbstick and idled through a strike playlist until something good dropped while he napped or went shopping having all the nice toys. It's better this way.

Maybe next week. I dont think anybody from bungie has said. Might have to wait until paradox comes around for the daily again. Which suck, because the gun looks like it would be fantastic add disposal in the raid.

any of the quests that require you to wait a week or wait for the daily reset are a pain. oh, you want your exotic sword, sorry there's a three month backlog on those, we'll order you one off of Blam-azon. Really? I wouldn't have minded some, like the gap between getting the DValin parts and the Cult ghost, except bungie made those weapons seem like they were super secret hidden items. not something we'd get if we just waited a bit.

These quests are hard on every player, not just those with limited time. I get these done early in the day. My friends get home later at night, and i spend my time helping as many as I can to get the quests done, so i spend an entire day doing the same quest line over and over. I'm not the kind of person to leave my friends without help, but it makes it really easy to burn out and not log in at all the next day.

3 RepliesI had work. I have no exotic because of my actual life getting in the way. I bought ttk because they said we get new guns. Interpret that how you like. The result is that I feel short changed so they can extend game life.

6 RepliesTTK introduced a ton of things I hate. Time gates and time windows are annoying at best. Most people play destiny in chunks. I can't play for 5 hours every day. In year 1 I would run Crota or skolas 3x in one sitting. Then I could just enjoy playing with friends on weekdays. You should have a week to do things. Just like weekly strikes, IB, raids...that way you aren't penalized for having a life and other obligations some days. It doesn't really matter anyways. This game just keeps getting worse. Instead of having [b]more[/b] [b]you want to do[/b], we just have to repeat the same crap more.
