It's still douchey as hell though. I breeze through raids, without having to crutch with those silly requirements. :/

I'd rather join a group that knows what they're doing because I hate wasting time.
-
There's a difference between having silly requirements and playing with people who know what they're doing.
-
Like I said dude. I don't usually host. I just join these people with ridiculous requirements because most of the time they know what they're doing.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/20/2015 6:56:23 PMDoesn't make it any less douchey and idiotic bro. They're probably the type of people who required Ghorn in the past.
-
Doesn't make it any less douchey and idiotic bro.
You referencing that to me like I'm douchey for joining them. I came to you explaining how not everyone has the time to do a long raid with inexperienced players. That's not douchey, unless you consider that douchey. Then by all means hold on to your opinion.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/20/2015 8:01:33 PMUmmm... No? I'm calling these people who have those dumb as hell requirements as douchey dude. I didn't call you Douchey but you're giving off these vibes. I'm saying there's a difference between having dumb requirements such as "needing" weapons and shit and playing with actual experienced players who don't have the weapons but have knowledge of how to do the raid. Hell there's even some players who aren't experienced but have just a basic knowledge of how to do it and can breeze past it.
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/20/2015 8:09:09 PMYou replied to my comment saying people who have high requirements are douches, when I clearly stated I don't mind joining said douches. That practically made your reason to reply to me pointless. (When really most of them are just chill guys who are tired of playing with inexperienced players) If I give you bad vibes then so be it. I havnt said anything but id rather join better players. But imo you give me bad vibes assuming people are douchey for having high requirements. When in reality there's just tired of noobs. (I'm not saying you're a noob)
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/20/2015 8:15:27 PMThat's the thing. You don't 'need' to have those weapons to be "experienced" or "better". That's the thing you can't comprehend at all. :/ Right, because treating players as equals and not requiring certain weapons to be counted as "bettwr" or "experienced" totallyyy gives bad vibes. ":0" "lol". Mhmmm... Sure bro.

Edited by Urban Shade: 10/20/2015 8:30:23 PMIf you got a problem over my preference of which fire teams i choose from over the other then ok
-
Not a problem with it but I do have a problem with how you judge players who have these requirement weapons as "Better" or "experienced". That's just so blindly ignorant, it's not funny. Mattr of fact it's downright stupid as hell.
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/20/2015 9:57:29 PMWell from my experience they usually are. Most of the time when I join a 290+ it's just a bunch of people who are just bad. I wasn't even mud slinging at you. Havnt insulted you in any way. Then you start it. Therefore you are the true douche here. I guess some people don't know that everyone have different preferences when finding a fire team. Mine are different from yours.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/20/2015 10:38:21 PMThere's a difference between preferance and just plain ignorance. I can be snd join a light lvl person of 290+ and never use those weapons and I'm fine. Come on now... Seems to me you're only making your case worse mate. Seems to me you need to work on your people skills which is highly lacking.
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/20/2015 10:51:33 PMMy preference is id rather play with someone who's 300 then a 290. Is that so hard to understand? Lol. Like a dude, enjoy your 290 raid I got nothing against that. I don't lack skill in social skills, you're just assuming that because I'd rather play with 300+ players? Please guy, your logic is just wow... just because I don't want to carry some scrub who's going to argue with me that his fusion rifle is better then a sniper for war priest. (Has happened) I've had way more bad run ins with less experienced players then higher experience. It's the fact they're not on the same page. I've seen inexperience players rage at each other over things in the raid that would have never happened if they knew what they were doing. How's me wanting to join a group of 300's ignorant? I'd rather not waste my time with noobs, therefore I'm ignorant in your book. Logic. Please try it.
-
... Tuh, see you still don't get it dude. I said that judging players who don't have certain *weapons* and calling them "inexperienced" and "noobs" is ignorant. I've met players who're light lvl 300+ screw up and insult each other more times than I have 295s. "Lol" ":0" Having a certain weapon doesn't dictate "experience" dude. Now sit down. Equality and common sense. You should try it.
-
What you think i didn't know that? Of course somebody could have the same amount of experience as somebody with a ToM. But the ToM is a symbol of somebody who's completed the raid and knows what they're doing. In general anybody with the raid emblem is raid worthy of course. But one thing I disagree with you is equality. Not everyone is equal in experience in raids. I'm pretty sure the higher the light somebody is, they know the raid more then somebody who's lower (unless they infused 310 exotics without touching the raid) If you're 295+ have a decent sniper and know the raid mechanics that's all I really look for. But if I see a group asking for 300+ with ridiculous requirements? I'm joining that one because these players 9/10 times know what they're doing and hate wasting time. If I'm short on time I'd rather join the fireteam full 300's over 290's. Don't like that? Too bad. Go play your way. I play my way.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/21/2015 1:06:15 AMBy your logic then back when those old raids were irrelevant, Ghorn was too. :/ And I like how you acknowledge the fact that those requirements are ridiculous. What next? You gonna join groups where you "need" to have the Kellbreaker emblem? XD
-
Ghorn was RNG based. People who asked for ghorn only were retarded ToM and spindle are obtainable if you have skill and time. People who ask for those weapons for a raid arnt total ass holes asking for luck drops. They know if you have those weapons you probably know what you're doing.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/21/2015 1:11:34 AMToM? Skill-based? Heh...And Black Spindle? ... Riiiggghhhttt because Black Spindle something that you may have missed getting is totallyyy "skill" based especially since it drops at 290 now. But yeah you can get carried to get that dude... ToM? You can be carried through the raid and get the stuff, plus you can use a Destiny tracker to obtain the fragments and such.
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/21/2015 1:15:49 AMPeople have had plenty of opportunities to get Spindle. If you don't have it by now, then sucks for you( I wasn't around the first 2 times). People who couldn't beat it because it was "too hard" well then Git gud. ToM you actually have to beat the raid, so yea I count that as a land Mark on your raid history. But if you got carried through the whole thing, then wow Git gud too. But you better learn the raid quick or else face a party full of people who will think you suck. Like I said dude "most" know what they're doing, not all.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/21/2015 1:34:54 AMAll and all you don't 'need' those weapons but whatever floats the elitist boat. If by "most" I'm pretty sure you only mean thoe people who crutch with those things. :/
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/21/2015 1:42:09 AMWait are you trying to say people who use ToM or spindle are crutches? >.> If it makes the game easier why not use it?
-
Annnddd you just reached the event horizon of ignorance. Nothing wrong with using it but requiring it just to join a raid team is stupid as hell man. I'm pretty sure you'll try and think up any reason just to justify the bullshit reasons for making silly requirements for players to join a group. :/
-
Edited by Urban Shade: 10/21/2015 1:59:45 AMNever said I require it. I just join groups with the requirements. You keep assuming I form raid teams with these requirements lol. Did somebody have a bad run in when they were 293 or something? Were you kicked because you couldn't DPS enough one time? Please guy, read carefully before you ASSume. I feel like you're one of those people who accept anyone in their raid only to have everyone leave at some point because not everyone was raid capable.
-
Edited by john_osborne: 10/21/2015 2:07:53 AMNot really, I have friends who do the raid and I don't join raiders who have dumb requirements. You may not require it yourself but you sure do defend it as if it were. Please dude "KUNTinue" to defend it. Actually? I allow anyone to join. Explain for like maybe 1-3 minutes and make the raid a breeze. Can you say the same for your idiotic crutch wielding self? :/
-
Heh, keep cussing at me. Sure is helping your case ;)
