Hardest Raid Boss in Destiny
For me, Atheon is the hardest if all the raids were the same light level.

Honestly, none of them are too bad once you know what you're doing. Crota hard mode was made artificially difficult with all of the glitching that happened for months.

Crota was made really hard by all the glitches.

It's really funny, but I know a bunch of new players that out level Atheon but can't complete the raid. But of all of the end game content Skolas was hardest.

Atheon is still a menace because he is capped at level 30

For me, Aetheon was always the most fun, Oryx is a fantastic raid boss too and he is pretty fun, but I never enjoyed the Crota fight, I don't know why

Honestly? I found Skolas harder than any of them. I know he isn't a raid boss but the first time I finished VoG we didn't wipe at Atheon, first time at CE we only wiped because I suck at swordbearing, first killing of Oryx we only wiped because people suck at following instructions. Skolas? You could know how to kill him, but you could NEVER shut up, because the second you did? Chances are you were -blam!-ed.

Hardmode crota, the glitches where terrible. The sword disappearing. Crota not kneeling. Spent more hours on hardmode crota than hardmode atheon.

Atheon is easy (and fun). Oryx is easy if everyone can get their crap together. Honestly I think crota is the hardest. Fighting him, yeah he'd pretty easy. But his sword can hit me in orbit. At least you have to be in the same room as oryx and atheon for them to wreck you.

1 ReplyI think it's a toss up between Atheon and Oryx, one that'll really be decided Friday. On one hand, Atheon was pretty straight forward, but at the time, if someone went down shooting oracles, you were screwed. You had two teams working together and needed a good relic runner. On the other hand, Oryx is much more mechanical. Everyone's individual role plays a big part. Anxious to see what, of any changes are made to his fight when hard mode drops.

2 RepliesCrota can be solo'd easily making it the easiest raid. Oyrx is relatively easy and the mechanics are easier and less buggy then atheon. Vault is the hardest of the three. When Friday comes oyrx may be hardest again but right now vog can go wrong quicker. All three are easy though to be honest.

Skolas with solar burn, by far. (Before they made him easy mode and adds spawned on a timer rather than skolas' health).
