How hard is oryx
So..4 different sqads..for no completions ..how hard is oryx?.really? ..

Oryx can be real tough if you don't have a raid team that communicates well, has enough fire power, and understanding of the mechanics. I've ran the raid a half-dozen times with raid teams comprised of randoms. Only two of those times were the raids unsuccessful. One failure was due to lack of communication and not understanding the mechanics of Oryx. The other failure was due to not enough firepower(only one sniper). Oryx is easy for experienced teams and players.

It's really easy. Bad players are what make it hard. You need to jump on the pads in sequence, kill ogres, stagger oryx, run to blights to detonate, run to aura, live, rinse, repeat.

Understand the mechanics 1 teamwork 2 great communications 3 assign specific assignment 4 have fun, cut out small talks, no yelling and most important no raging. If you want to do raid at least you have the respect to listen.

It's not difficult, it's just a lot of mechanics that have to be done well every single time.

1 ReplyPretty easy. We 5 manned the whole raid on Saturday in about an hour.

Not hard just that the mechanics require all 6 Fire-team members to not mess up. Someone messes up and it's typically a wipe.

Edited by WAYMAN1194: 10/20/2015 4:04:28 PMI did it with a group yesterday with 3 guys that had never done it and everyone else but me was under 300 light. But they were all very coordinated and listened well. You just need a good team. We finished in about 2 hours.
