Can bungie clarify double loot drop on hard mode
Everyone's under the impression they will get twice the reward for Hard. I don't think you will, there are different loot tables between hard and normal.
I will use an example. I just killed oryx on hard mode, he will drop the new doom of chelchis 318. If he did drop double loot you could get another doom of chelchis light level 302 with the old colour scheme.
To me that does not make sense.

No just like the old raids. You get two rolls if you dont heat normal first so youd get say two dooms at 318. Youd get a 302 on normal first then only one roll for 310+
