First time I fought mini crota, and realized the mechanics were identical, I was excited for easy loot. That was until the other half dozen people there just killed adds while I stood there with the sword, waiting... Then, after the sword was gone, they took him down and unloaded all their supers and rockets on him like he was a regular boss. So after the first wipe, I let them have the sword, hoping they would figure it out. Every time one of them got the sword, they would just use it to get adds. One of them tried to use it on baby crota BEFORE his shields went down, then never tried again. After that wipe I said screw it, I'll do everything myself. Grabbed the sword, went to the corner, dropped the sword to shoot down the shields, only to have one of the other guys take it and start using it on adds again. It wasn't until I added all the randoms to a party chat and explained everything that we took him down. By the end of it I had a concussion from banging my head against the wall.
