I think the XB1 lobbies are going to be pretty sparse on October 27th. That will just be the beginning.
BO3 will take from both XB1 and PS4.
Then there is Fallout 4. This again will steal potential Destiny players from XB1 and PS4.
I am not going to start with the "______ will kill Destiny" montage. However, IF Halo 5 has as good of a PvP experience as is being touted then many XB1 players may not return for quite awhile (if at all). There goes a moderate chunk of your PvP crowd.
Then, IF Fallout 4 is as immersive and open world as advertised (it's Bethesda so no reason to doubt it) a significant chunk of current gen players may leave for months (or again, not come back at all). There goes your PvE crowd as well.
In short, it will be interesting how Bunglevi$ion handles not being the only game in town. Given past and recent missteps by Bungie, they are sure giving players plenty of reasons to depart.
Bunglevi$ions only saving grace is that it STILL caters of last gen consoles that do not have access to any of the new AAA releases. By design perhaps?

Lol, I can see it now. Everyone leaves Destiny for other games and in a last ditch effort to gain back their player base, BungieVision makes one last advertisement... "At least we didn't leave last gen behind!!" Haha that's priceless.

That would be hilarious. Bunglevi$ion could market Destiny with a holiday package labeled "Greatest Hits - Last Gen Edition".

XD I just loled so hard. Now that I think about it I'm glad Destiny s getting such stiff competition. Maybe then we'll funaly get the game that was promised to us.

I agree. I think Bungie/Activision needs a wake up call concerning this franchise.
