So, now after a month with the TTK and the hard raid about to release, where does everyone see Destiny going next? Are we to expect some smaller DLC like TDB and HoW or are we looking at a trickle of smaller content for free to tide everyone over until Destiny 2 releases.
Before anyone says it, yes, I've read the contract between Bungie and Activision. However, it seems some of those plans are changing. With microtransactions in place they could easily skip on two smaller DLCs while releasing smaller pieces of content at no cost while they focus on Destiny 2 (as they are supposed to release a full game every 2 years per the contract).
So far there has been no official mention (aside from that leaked photo from a while ago) about any upcoming DLC. Yet when the base game released you could pre-order the expansion pass.
What are your thoughts? Will we be getting free, small pieces of content? Will Bungie release two more smaller expansion similar to TDB and HoW? Will there even be a Destiny 2 (or whatever they decide to call it)?

Here's my crazy theory. Instead of getting to mini DLCs, well get one actually decent sized DLC that will drop sometime after the first of the year. Even though that means they will miss out on the Christmas season, so I'd expect something minor to drop in the December time freame.
