I was really looking forward to playing DA:I but I guess it never really hooked me, I'd be really interested to see what other people thought of it though, was I the only one who didn't really enjoy it?

It was okay. It was like it was constantly building up to something epic, but never quite got there. I hate when the game leaves me with story blue-balls
-
Story mode wasn't bad. It was the repetitive multiplayer that I didn't care for.

Well, i liked it but not as much as DA1, for starters, no intro? Really? In DA1 depending on the Race you choose is the intro you play, wich explains more about your character, the lore around it ( like the mages guild, or the elves camp, or the poor/rich dwarf life, etc ) and in DAI whatever you choose you only get a little description and thats it, the same for everyone ( this is not the only reason i didnt like it as much as DA1 or even 2, but im just too lazy to write more and the other aspects are similar in the way that DA1 was better ) dont get me wrong, i liked it, but not as much as i hoped

I love them game. Although the latest DLC screws me over because the last stage in one of the longest missions essentially makes Iron Bull (my strongest, best character ability wise with incredible gear) turn against the rest of my team (Dorian and sera, can't even take a hit) and I'm a knight enchanter Mage. Literally the bull is a tank. I can't kill him. He's immortal. He heals every time he hits something. It's the worst.

I didnt like the fact that races couldnt equip all the different armors and the voices for your playable character are terrible and it got a bit terrible completing stupid side quest just so you could carry on the main quest the world is about to be destroyed but i think i have enough time to take these flowers to a grave half way accross the map other then that i really enjoyed the story and the playable classes didnt catch up to origins but surpassed 2 by miles

Out of all of them I preferred the third one although that might just be me, it felt easier to play and didn't have a massive section like Orzamar from origins
-
The entire world looked boring to me so I didn't even play it. Not really into western "RPGs". Give me a colourful, zany JRPG any day.
-
I didn't really enjoy any of the Dragon Age games
-
1 ReplyWas boring to me. I quit once I reached sky watch. (Was that the Castles name? Haven't played it in a long time). So y'all can't say I didn't give it a chance. I gave it plenty time to set in.

It's not just you

There were a lot of side quests, which is fine, I love side quests, but they felt like chores. lol I don't know how I went through Mass Effect's side quests which were tedious as hell.
-
I thought I liked it a lot while I was playing it, but looking back it seems rather boring. Particularly after now having played Witcher 3.

2 RepliesIt never captured that same vibe that Origins had. But it's always hard to keep something feeling fresh after you handed out an encyclopedia on the world's lore in the first game. There were however entire zones in DAI that were there simply to pry into various aspects of the lore. Which I thought was great. The semi-open world definitely sated much of my wanderlust and contained plenty of content. My biggest complaint was the focus on Orlais. I really don't care much for the country or its politics, fortunately western Orlais was much more generic and less focused on all things orlesian. That and I felt like there was a lot of the same stuff again and again. Like demon possession being the answer to every haunting. Overall I was quite pleased though.

I enjoy it very much
-
It just feels so empty and boring. As a big fan of the series, it was a disappointment. The side quests were boring as -blam!-.
-
It was fun but since I skipped every other Dragon Age I has no idea what was going on.
-
I objectively see why it is a great game but for me personally it bored the hell out of me. I really wish it didn't but I couldn't connect or be interested in any of the characters.
-
Solid game.....bland at times
-
1 ReplyI got pissed at trying to kill the dragons ended up not playing anymore after that
-
The side quest just bore me but the story was good.
-
They put too many side quests in the hinterlands, and most of them are useless/faceless stuff origins had more stuff for its sidequests
-
I couldn't get into it, mostly because I wasn't able to import my worldstate.
-
I stopped playing after I reached the big castle place, got too bored
-
At times felt like a single player MMO
-
It's a pretty game. It's aight all around, though.
-
I loved it.
