I love this theory, though I am a bit skeptical. I think it's more likely that Taox was found by the awoken and gave Mora information about Oryx. Based upon this information I think she made a plan, especially after guardians defeated Crota, to ensure that Oryx could be defeated after he came, for she knew he could come because the Traveler was here.
