If bungie put the cards as part of the game sure. From what i heard exo are simply created to defend the human race. Of course bungie probably change the lore for them. Lmao

They make hints at it in the game...but even the halo story wasn't just in the game. Much of the story (including how the war started in the first place) is in the books. Anything that is in the grimoire is cannon...and part of the game.

You're right...they had terminal...which you had to get on waypoint to view.

But for the terminals, once you found it, you can read it right there and then in halo....

One of the games you couldn't...had to be on waypoint. I believe they were videos though. On top of that well over half the story from halo is in the books.
