3 RepliesThere should be an option for "I haven't played it".

Glitcher 3 Bug hunt

9 RepliesStory is very very weak until you get about 50% done with it.

I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a huge world and it's packed full with things to do. The graphics are great and the story is amazing. The games just so in depth, you can craft your own potions, bombs, poisons, alchohol and collect pieces to have blacksmiths craft your armor/weapons and there are a ton of options for armor and weapons. There are issues here and there but it's still a solid 9 out of 10 for me. I played witcher 2 and didn't like it much but when i picked up 3 i couldn't put it down. Do it!

Game of the year.

Started playing it two days ago and I'm officially hooked. I haven't even thought about destiny and my fear of missing out in terms of the destiny grind. The story is incredible. Voice acting is some of the best you'll see in gaming. Every character is interesting. Visually stunning. The world crafting is incredible and one of the things that draws me in more and more. The details explaining how things work and the mature take on some classic fantasy elements is super interesting. Been spending a lot of time in the glossary which is not something I usually do in games like this. Gameplay is great but takes a bit of getting used to. The movement outside of combat can feel a little clunky at times but nothing major and more than manageable. Combat is super super fun. It's a great combination of fast paced action and the strategic, careful planning of a dark souls type combat. You have so many tools at your disposal that there are as many combinations of ways to deal with opponents as you can think of. Look no further than the witcher 3 if you want to play an amazing fantasy rpg

6 RepliesI hated the Witcher 2's combat system so I've never even touched 3
-
5 RepliesMeh. Played a bit. Wasn't a fan.

If you like story sure it's good. If you like everything else, gameplay, ai, etc then it's not for you.
-
Amazing And the expansions are really good too! At least the first one
-
I say boo
-
It's excellent. But it's a slow start and might take a while to get to grips with everything

Beyond Amazing

2 RepliesSo terrible you might as well read a make your own adventure book.

29 RepliesIt's average in all areas. Combat is average Story telling isn't half bad but eh Loot is average Exploration is average Progression is average It's a game that is good because all of its parts can stand on their own, but those parts can't stand up to the exploration of Skyrim, combat of Dark Souls/Shadow of Mordor, looting of Disblo-style games, story telling of the Walking Dead, etc. I got 60-80 hours out of it because I only really played one full run. Got bored when I tried to do a second one.

Edited by AlexanderSolomon: 10/20/2015 4:53:21 PMPretty damn good, Geralt handles well, controls are responsive, each monster you hunt is unique, the world is massive, and the story is solid. It's not a 10/10, due to some glitches and texture issues I experienced, but it's definitely a 9.5/10

Better than amazing, but not flawless. A defining achievement in gaming. 10/10.

17 RepliesI have it and it's been sitting in my back catalogue for far too long. I've made a commitment to set aside destiny for a bit and make a good start on my journey with Geralt and the witcher 3 tonight. I played the witcher 2 and LOVED it. Anyone feel like they have trouble sitting down and starting up a single player game now after being hooked on playing destiny with your friends so much? despite the fact that I know I'll love the witcher 3, I have to force myself to start it and will myself away from destiny to do so.
-
Meh, didnt care for it honestly. I mainly didnt have the time to get into it.

12 RepliesIt's no Skyrim in relation to scale and extended gaming hours, but definitely an adventure worth undertaking and delivers plenty of gaming content for it's price tag. Have played through it twice since it's release and plan to have a 3rd run at it on Hard down the road once all the DLC content is released = A must have for any true gamers collection 😉

It's awesome. I loved every minute of it. The combat isn't groundbreaking but it requires thought and timing but it's the story. I have never played a game were the side stories are as fascinating as the main campaign. The Witcher contracts are interesting. The ending ( Last 3-4 hours) were some of the best I've ever played. It had more story in the final 4 hours than some games have altogether. If you love a good story then get this game.

Edited by Tuxx: 10/20/2015 12:34:21 PMIt's a good game, but I wouldn't say "amazing". The story to me was not very compelling. The most fun I had with it was during certain combat sections, and I really liked the beastiary.

It is a good game, but it wasn't for me. I couldn't get into the combat and it felt very boring for me.
-
There are literally no flaws I can think of; The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen, the story is the best story I've ever played, the gameplay is near flawless, the voice acting is incredible and the world itself is breathtaking at points. Needless to say, it's my favourite game of all time

Been gaming since the commodore 64 and I can honestly say Witcher 3 is the best game I've ever played.....ever. I'm totally blown away with what CD Projekt Red have created, I haven't even finished it yet but everything is just so incredible.
