Hammer of Sol only viable counter is itself.

Seriously, how do people think that throwing 6-8 tracking/gernades and horse shoes nova bombs (that heal you if you kill someone) while also having the highest armor of any super in the game is balanced? Hammer of sol has more armor the a titan bubble or radiance warlock. It is the fastest class in the game because of titan skating. And does more damage than nova bomb and fist of havoc together. Now let's look at the the mobile supers. Golden Gun: now on paper this sounds promising, however in reality it stands absolutely no chance against a HoS who will take 2 shots to put down. Now back to what I said it sounds okay because the hunter has a gun and can keep safe distance from the titan. But in actuality the fire rate on golden gun is a big road block. Because GG is so squishy and you're highlighted by fire, the entire enemy team is going to be shooting at you. So in conclusion the only way GG could "counter" HoS is when the titan is caught by surprise. Radiance What's there to say that hasn't already been said? It used to be a good super for PvP, but with the grenade and orb changes its lost its edge. Now even with a maxed armor build and gear to add even more defense you will get one shot by a hammer. (Have not tested with flame shield active) What is the sunsinger counter to HoS? The only counter is for them to die and self revive because that's the only chance you would have. Blade Dancer Already the easiest super to escape from or to stop dead in its tracks, what does a blade dancer do to counter HoS? Well not blink because blink is too slow to save you from explosions anymore. Razors edge? It would take nearly 4 direct blows to kill the titan. So again HoS wins no contest. Storm trance Now as a warlock main who thoroughly enjoys storm caller I can tell you the only counter is to strafe and spam ionic blink and pray that whoever is controlling the indestructible death machine launcher is to excited to line up one hammer. (Because realistic they have 7 or 8 ticks of storm trance before they die and if one hammer lands in my area code it will surely be the end of me and regen their health.) Now let's look at nova bomb and fist of havoc. Nova Bomb One hammer will kill you mid animation so nova bomb is out as well. Fist of Havoc Good luck getting close to a titan in HoS. They are going to throw a hammer at everything that moves I mean why not go a little trigger happy when you have enough to wipe out the whole enemy team and some change. This means they'll probably throw some hammers around blind corners as well so waiting like a preying mantis will also get you no where. Ward of Dawn 2 hammers break these leaving 5 to 6 hammers left. All that all you have done with your ward is to drop a big purple target on the ground that can be annihilated with only %25 of their super. Exempt Supers or Abilities ShadowShot: I left this out because the only thing this super does is counter supers and annoy people, but it must be noted: hitting a titan directly while they are in their super will not immediately suppress them out of it so 60% of the time I've seen the titan still kill the hunter. All the hunter achieved is saving what few team mates weren't already hammered. Suppressor Grenade This is a striker titan only ability and as we've already covered how you won't be able to get near the titan your only option is to blindly throw it around a corner or something of the sort. This is largely dependent on luck and luck is not a viable counter. So I've systematically compared HoS to every super in the game. And I've come to the conclusion this is like bringing a gun to a rock, paper, sisscors fight. It's such a big step backwards in the terms of balance. Autos were nerfed because they were just better to use than anything else. Thorn and TLW were nerfed because they were so overpowered that they had no counter except themselves. This is the exact same problem we are having now with HoS. The only thing that beats one -- is another. https://youtu.be/UJeDz2oHZQs https://youtu.be/K1pf-0gq1Vs

 •
This is facts not opinion : A breakdown of super kills in PvP only :Hunter Gunslinger 190,777,669 (15.28%) Hunter Bladedancer 174,969,632 (14.01%) Titan Striker 156,269,948 (12.52%) Warlock Sunsinger 154,932,130 (12.41%) Hunter Nightstalker 142,156,284 (11.39%) Titan Defender 124,666,922 (9.98%) Warlock Voidwalker 116,239,024 (9.31%) Titan Sunbreaker 106,671,945 (8.54%) Warlock Stormcaller 81,881,398 (6.56%) And percentage of class usage: Warlock: 33.5% Hunter: 34.1% Titan: 32.4% Note the bolded numbers. Those are the three new subclasses starting from 9/15. Also, note where Sunbreakers are sitting compared to Nightstalker and the other subclasses. This proves that people aren't used to Titans being able to be a threat at a distance while super and they are now just crying about it. The entire sun breaker class is garbage anyways besides the hammers. Grenades suck and aren't useful, jump is the same as all the other three jumps. So stop crying .
