FFXIV has this feature; it's called Party Finder and it really is helpful. You set your requirements and then wait for people to join up.

Too simple! I just don't understand why its not happening. Party Finder would be so great. -
It's not even automatic matchmaking. It's a list of groups looking for players that you can browse in-game.

Yep, I totally understand what you are saying. That is exactly the goal of this post...most people want the "matchmaking" which leaves most ot think it would be auto and that would suck. I like the party finder approach and we pick/choose and hop on board and take off :o)
