**UPDATE** Finally got this completed, and learned a few things about myself. Never try to force a kill, if that makes any sense. Try not to over think things and just play as you would normally if at all possible.
The rest will fall into place. More importantly, record your games if possible. So many face palm moments I had where I'm sitting there reviewing my gameplay and say
"What the *blam* where you thinking making that move?!"
GL fellow guardians, and remember, knowledge is power, guard it well. Review your games, especially the ones that are particularly bad. You tend to learn the most from when you're at your worst.

I do reasonable well with Hawkmoon, but for the life of me, I can't seem to get precision kills, let alone kills in general with imprecation.
For those who have completed this part of the chain, do you have any suggestion?
I'm trying to use it in game modes such as Control at the moment, but I'm having a really hard time. The lack of range seems to really hurt this guns performance.

A year late...but I just realized the wording is very important for this quest...did not know about PvE on the kills. Thanks...

I managed to do it in my first real game, but I only have seven kills total - all of them precision. I was baffled by the mere concept of it.

I did this and trust me it was a pain in the ass just do rumble and camp like crazy it's a bitch thing or do but it will get the job done

1 ReplyThe seven kill streak can be done in PvE. Just load up the Dark Beyond and drop the Thrall that come out of the door. Just make sure to get the Triple Tap bonus for that seventh round. You need to reach 260 attack to complete the infusion process and the precision kills in the Crucible need to be in one game. Not one life. Go, my little Imprecations! Make me proud!

1 ReplyBiggest pro tip is don't suck

1 ReplyI've been on 6 3 times now. Don't know if I can take much more lol
-
1 ReplyI just followed people around and stole their kills :P

2 RepliesGotta play a little closer to your chest. It doesn't have the reach of Hawkmoon. Flanking is always awesome. No one will be shooting at you and the enimies will most likely be injured. Try the Rumble game mode. People get caught it the crossfire a lot there.

5 RepliesYou do realize the 7 kills can be done in PVE correct?
-
21 RepliesI love that hand cannon sad it was taking away from me. It does have a low mag though but ya clash would be perfect just to pick people of in. I did mine using chain of woe in rumble and went on a 14 kill streak. Little luck and skill will get it done easy.

Prime your target with a grenade or melee then finish them off with the Imprecation. I was able to complete it in my second match on Control using Gunslinger with double throwing knives. I would hang around the B flag, hit an enemy with a throwing knife head shot followed up by one shot from the Imprecation. I was able to get nine kills, eight of them being a head shot that way
-
Run around and find people with low health and boom one shot to the head and move on to the next one lol

I'm a pretty decent player, but I suck balls with that gun. I can't get more than 4 for some reason. And I've done everything else in the game. Even Jolly's quest was easy compared to this.

1 ReplyI did mine on Clash. You have to get somewhat close and take your time to make sure you're getting headshots. I was anticipating a nightmare but I lucked out and got 4 headshot kills when everyone clashed in the very beginning.
