Ok I have seen a lot of people saying the Shadow shot glitch is cheating and Shadow shot glitch is not cheating. So I have made a poll to figure what the community thinks.

Cheating in pvp, helpful in pve. It's over now anyway
-
I may be a hunter with ss but that would be cheating
-
I used it on PvP and pve, so much fun.'3'
-
Not cheating, definitely an exploit/bug
-
It exists as a glitch. It is used as an exploit. Exploits and cheeses are cheating. Glitches have always been a way to find something funny, get into somewhere you weren't supposed to, or to make things easier. If it occurs without provoking, then it's probably rare and normality funny. But this is knowing taken advantage of and is used as an exploit. So yes, it is cheating. Mistakes happen, but those defending this are defending the ability to use it against others, not the existence of the glitch itself.

1 Replywheres the option for pvp:yes pve:no ?

Infinite Shadow Shot, an unintentional glitch with a Hunter super, being used in an exploitive way that gives an UNFAIR advantage is indeed cheating, especially in a competitive enviorment such as PvP. I CANNOT see how using this in any scenario can't be considered cheating. I just can't. -
1 Reply13% is people thinking they are allowed to break the game because bungie didn't fix something they didn't find so when people found it everyone started saying, "Nope, it be ok bungie no find it"
-
Pve: no Pvp: yes i think im done here
-
I still don't understand how some people throw the blame on the developer.. "It's their fault this glitch exists." ..I'm not sure that makes sense honestly. No one has you at gun point telling you to look for any and all glitches and shortcuts in said game. And after being caught red handed, they defend themselves as if they're not in the wrong for doing it. As if, "yea Bungie should apologize to me." What kind of f-ed up mentality is that..?
-
How can u call it a glitch then ask if its cheating -_-
-
Edited by ppsCreeper: 10/20/2015 4:45:46 PMI get salty as hell when i see it used in pvp. But pve l do what you want lol. It's helping everyone at that point. Plus. They will get tired of it then.
-
It's an exploit definitely, but cheating nope I wouldn't say so
-
11 Repliesglitching is absolutely cheating it just is you cant argue that its not thats like saying that manipulating networks is not cheating cause it only affects the game well no shit sherlock the shadow shot is a part of the game all forms of cheating are part of the game or affect the game why are people so stupid
-
1 ReplyIs stealing money in Monopoly cheating? I rest my case.
-
I consider it cheating in Pvp. In pve do what you want
-
19 RepliesI don't think its cheating its taking advantage of a error in the system. People shouldn't be penalized for the developers mistake
-
This is no where near 18,000 votes lol. Every time I see this post the results are the exact same without change
-
4 RepliesSo tom Brady using deflated footballs wasn't cheating either!
-
My main is hunter and I consider it cheating. Trying it out on a patrol to see how it works is OK but I would never use it in raid or PVP.
-
2 RepliesPVP it's not cheating but it is unfair. I've never done it in PVP. In PVE though, why not use it? It's fun to have an unlimited super - kind of like a cheat code.
-
Edited by Combo164: 10/20/2015 4:16:03 PM-blam!-ing cheat bullshit. Played iron banner and this guy starts spamming the damn glitch near the end of the match. Annoying as hell when you try caping a point only to have to leave to avoid infinite arrows and tethers. Pretty much avoided pvp aside from daily events for the entire week.
-
ToO didn't get pushed back cause it wasn't a glitch! Lmao, yea right.
-
How could an unintended, infinite super, not be cheating?
-
Simple: its cheating if bungie calls it cheating. People got banned en masse for cherrypicking trials matches (leave before game starts). It doesnt use any glitches or exploits at all, yet bungie calls it cheating, thus it is. So ask yourself this "would bungie allow this? Is it the way they intended the gme to be played?" If the answer is an obvious "no", youll know you can get into trouble if you do it anyway

1 ReplyEdited by MildSquirrel: 10/20/2015 1:13:02 AMLooking at someone's cards in poker isn't cheating because we all have eyes and we just exploit them. -pretty much what everyone using the glitch is saying
