I don't know any games off the top of my head where you can reload while sprinting, so that was to be expected... the sprint glitch though, is annoying. Jamming my stick forward, having to stop, then slam it in again to try to get my guy to start running again really sucks, especially when I NEED to move out of a sticky situation.
