Oryx Raid Rewards Moldering Shards - no weapon/armor drops
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the problem where you do the raid in it's entirety (while having 20 moldering shards) and only receiving moldering shards and wormspore.
Both last week and this week, while doing the raid on my Titan, I didn't receive any weapons/armor drops, only the shards.

1 ReplyAs a test, I did one this week, no moldering shards. From oryx kill, I received 2 shards and 1 uncharged antiquated rune. I was none too happy

Whole idea of moldering shards is just dumb. It's more rng on top of rng. Especially bullshit when it's all a boss rewards you with in the raid.

I am a day one player with shit ton of finished Raids. And now I have to watch noobs I carry through the raid getting a full Armor set and almost every weapon, while I dont get shit. Well I guess thats your way of letting RNG work. RNG my ass. Fix this shit already. Im just so sick about it. Dont even wanna think about it. Finished Raid with more then 40 Moldering Shards. Guess what ? Nothing - Only 2 more Moldering Shards from Oryx. He took away 20 and gave me back 2. Wtf is this shit ?

5 RepliesMy entire clan is experiencing this, we've done the raid 3 times a week since it dropped. None of us have reached 310 and we hardly see gear drop, even when having 20 moldering shards. They need to decrease the chance of moldering shards dropping from bosses and take moldering shards off Oryx's loot table. Last 6 raids I've had moldering shards and a repeat weapon or gear piece drop from oryx, it's quite upsetting.

Edited by Swag: 10/16/2015 7:12:20 AMI think it's a bit lame when you don't get anything extra when you've got 20 Moldering Shards. Kind of crummy. Would be nice if they guaranteed you an armour and weapon drop on top of your normal roll.

Yes. This is happening a lot. They haven't done anything about it yet and I'm not sure if they plan too. With hard mode coming next week we'll need more than a few moldering shards to get our characters ready.
