Well, when you are in a CQC situation the shotgun will always win. If you're running around corners without looking at your radar and get popped by the shotty is the guy that was prepared for the encounter at fault or is the person who's running around the corner unprepared at fault? Sure, some shotguns operated exquisitely at long range but here's the thing, you know they got range yet you still push the engagement and when you die you complain that it needs a nerf. No, it's not the weapon that needs the nerf it's the idiot who died that needs a nerf. If you know that shotguns are Boss and still push the engagement and die you are not entitled to come to the forums and complain. I'm not saying you OP, but as a whole that's what I think of all the shotgun complainers on the forums.
