Iron Banner has a serious shotgun problem and don't get me started on the loot system
I'm never one to complain really, I enjoy the pvp in destiny but ever since the IB came back I've faced literally 10+ teams exclusively using shotguns (yes nearly the whole enemy team) all being conspiracy Theory. It's gotten to the point where it's not even fun nor worth it anymore since I see most people at the bottom of the scoreboard get the legendary gear, I really think something needs to be done about both these problems.

Make all characters have a shade step mechanic. A way to quickly evade a shotgunner effectively and put some distance will be a sufficient counter. It will also weed out the people with good reflexes (usually the people good at pvp) and the ones who forget there is an evade option (people who barely play pvp).

The camping snipers at the end of hallways was a much bigger problem. Shotguns are not the dominant special they once were.

Shot gun has a problem? I used to be a shotgun user switched to sniping recently and went back to a shotgun for the chaperone quest and realized how much worse they are now. Back to my sniper :)

Fun fact: shotguns kill you in close quarters.

Shotgun is in a pretty good place right now. Get better at creating spacing and aiming for head shots.

IB is the only mode I play poorly in.. for the simple fact that it's soo chaotic to play without a team, the lags awful... and there are scrubs running around aimlessly with their shotguns not playing the objective Just be grateful it's over for now

The loot system in IB is a joke. Ive seen 3 class item thats it. They were like 283.

4 RepliesThey need to do what they did in halo, 2 shotgun spawns with 12 rounds in each side of the map ONE and I mean ONE person on each team can get the ammo and when they die some one can pick it up, and it's on a longer respawn timer same for sniper rifles too. So many people just using shotguns and snipers. And it's not shotgun camping it's you respawn there's a little shit running at you with a shotgun, then your walking through a coridor there comes one jumping over a crate as your shooting another guy, or teams of snipers locking down parts of the map and on phateon (think I spelled that right) if you cover the main area with 3 the outside with one and the back hall with 2 you own the map. I remember when shooters used to take skill. Hate on that all you want, like they hated me in halo where skill actually mattered.

Giving everyone a rangefinder shotgun from the vanguard quest chain felt like "trollolol" from bungie.

What annoys me the most is when they dont even try to kill you with primary they will either try evade blink towards u qiming for shotgun only kills so annoying hardly see these guys attempt to challenge me sometimes they get me other time i still outgun with some hipfiring

The loot system definitely, but as far as shotties, that's just the nature of the beast in the kinds of games. 4th Horseman any good in pvp?
