Mouldering shards not giving extra rewards
Three times now i have defeated oryx with 20 mouldering shards and have one got one reward while losing the 20 shards.

Getting 2 moldering shards from oryx is an extra reward by the way , in case you did get it

1 ReplyIt doesn't say "chance" it does say "grants" which means you "should" get something, but Cozmo has stated that it means "chance" at an addition drop. There are some obvious discrepancies and I have fallen victim to it too. I seem to do better without the shards, so I take them off before oryx, go figure

17 RepliesIt says you have a chance to get double rewards. The chance must just be very very very small.

well I got screwed also, I had over 65 shards, did the raid on 3 characters and got 1 weapon on 1, helm on 1 and 2 shards on my 3rd, yup, took my 20 shards and gave me 2 back, f**king game, im really starting to hate this sh*t

Did you have this issue prior to the 2.0.1 patch(10-13-15 patch)? If not, I think the 2.0.1 patch is bugged... Here is a question I posted. If you agree, please bump/interject so it will hopefully get some recognition from Bungie. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/163117655/0/0

What, if anything were your oryx rewards? Did you get anything that was NOT a primary weapon or a helmet? If so, it was the shards that got it for you.
