IB drop rate is ridiculous...
All the way from rank 0 to 3.5, I have only seen one, I repeat, ONE drop. The titan mark, which dropped at 280 even though I was 302... They said gear will drop to justify making us spend legendary marks but in reality it just seems like they said that to shut us up.
This is beyond ridiculous, every blue I've gotten has been instantly dismantled because they aren't even 280+... What the hell?
Edit: For the purpose of clarity, when I say I've only seen one drop, I'm talking about my whole team as well. Besides my mark, I've yet to see anyone get any loot.

1 titan mark, from 0-5 level, had to buy pulse rifle just to get iron banner weapon, smh

I agree and the same happened to my team and I. No drops for this guy at all. I bought and infused my gear to better it. I am a rank five and have been rank two and higher since day one. Still no reward of value. A lot of crappy blue but nothing worth the time, just material harvesting.

Rank 5 and not a single drop. Had to buy everything with marks. Guess IB RNGesus hates me. On the bright side, good ol' regular RNGesus has been kind lately, especially with exotic drops. So I won't complain too loudly. Just wasn't my week, I guess.

I usually get at least 1 weapon per IB from drops. I'm rank 4 now and have yet to get anything

I started IB last night on my 3 characters- each time I have completed a weekly IB bounty I have gotten a good drop. Just FYI- has anyone else noticed this?

Ive had crap raid drops for 2 weeks on 3 characters, but iron banner dropped both of the hunter's gear and a birth of history for my warlock. I remember a couple times in year 1 where I would go 2 weeks without an exotic drop. You have to be patient with this game- its not for everybody, honestly. I just got my IB titan boots to drop at 297 and Ive noticed all drops have happened when I have completed the weekly IB bounties.

1 ReplyWhat upsets me is the implication that was posted by DEEJ/ BUNGIE... It sounded as if we were going to experience more drops than past Iron Banners. The reality is its been the OPPOSITE. I was resistant to complain but I appreciate your post. I am rank 4.5 and just like you I have had 1 legendary drop, which was the hunter cloak. What pissed me off was I was waiting and waiting to get it to drop and I waited til I was around rank 3.25, and I finally gave in to buy the cloak with marks. Soon after that the cloak finally dropped. I am all for accepting what the game is giving me, but don't post something in the BUNGIE news telling us something different.

Finished one round. Only 2 people got rewards and both were Coins. 2/6 People...0 Rewards for 4 Players... Ridiculous.

Aside from the abysmal matchmaking (which it says its doing after every freaking game) and has had me on losing streaks upwards of 9 games back to back, I have seen a grand total of 4 Iron Banner gear as rewards in the end screen. I was lucky in that after almost hitting rank 5 I finally got my Titan mark... and of course it was actually lower in level then all the rest of my gear. My incentive to play IB was dead after going from rank 2 to 4 and not seeing a single thing aside from junker blues that, your right, were not even above 280. Iron Banner is just sad...

I remember one time I wanted a specific item in Destiny and actually got it. That was a long time ago...get used to the grind or this game will poison you.
