While I am bumping this, they have pretty much done this type of activity all along; yet people still continue on thinking that they will change. They have created a good game, that could be great, but they do things to see the reactions. The reactions they watch for is the activity that continues on the game, and the reactions from the sales. Until people change they way they react, Bungie won't change their activities; they have learned that the negativity on the forums have no impact on their sales, nor any real impact on the playtime in the game - other than what the statistical history of gaming activities have shown.
