Many people cringe upon the very sound of this achievement. A deadly combination of the flood, legendary difficulty and the endless amounts of team-work required to accomplish the challenge, puts most people into fear! Eh...well, maybe its not that bad. Regardless of what you think about this achievement, it's actually very easy to do and there are so many reasons to do it. You've got the challenge, the fun, the laughs, the look on your face when you see its worth 0 GS, and with the ever nearing prospect of unlocking the Recon armor variant for use in multiplayer really gives you that urge to tackle it. For me, this achievement is a lot of fun and I get the most enjoyment out of it when I hear that sound of accomplishment from those who do it with me.
So, myself and the Spartan I Project "Annual Team" have worked together to bring you this in depth walkthrough on how to approach and conquer annual and do so in a time that won't have you ripping your hair out! We'll cover the simple things like where to position yourself to avoid being killed, shortcuts, using Sgt. Johnson to his full potential, battling spark and using the ghosts efficiently. We'll also take a look at some simple but important team work skills that you'll need while going through the level. All in all, this mission can be done comfortably in less than 30 mins. So sit back, enjoy the read and grab some popcorn while you watch the short clips too! Just to mention that the methods used in this are based on the idea of doing this quickly but as safely as possible.

Here are some answers. 1.) We do have members that will help you rank up legitimately. We do not boost for rank, exp, or achievements. 2.) We currently have over 6600 members with skill ranging from recruit to general, so no it doesn't matter what your current skill level is. 3.) SIP is getting organized right now and we're training for the new ODST Vidmasters. We even have a dedicated Firefight team called the Alpha Squad that is currently tearing up Gears of War 2 Horde mode in anticipation of Firefight. Rest assured that SIP will be there to help everyone who wants help on the road to recon.

i am about to join i need help with annual and if it won't be to hard ranking up to 20 am at 12 right now? also is it okay if i am a noob? also what time do you guys play? and are you guys going help with odst vidmaster channgles too? [Edited on 08.13.2009 11:32 PM PDT]

No BS with these runs, after the first one it's just fun helping others get there Vidmaster Annual. [quote]Total Runs 344 (A run involves 4 seperate people) This means SIP members have made the journey through Annual 1376 times cumulatively. The Total Time spent on runs is 7 Days, 3 Hours, 30 Minutes, and 55 Seconds (or 28 Days, 14 Hours, 3 Minutes, and 40 Seconds cumulatively, since each run has had 4 participants). The Average Time for a run is 29 Minutes, and 55 Seconds. While the Shortest Time is 13 Minutes, and 10 Seconds And the Longest 01 Hours, 56 Minutes, and 08 Seconds. The Number of Unique people that have gotten the achievement with SIP is 556 (this means that SIP memebers have, again cumulatively, helped people get the achievement 2224 times).[/quote]

[b]I ALSO[/b] joined SIP when I posted for help for Annual in the Optimatch, and Lonewolfvan referred me to SIP. I then posted in their Vidmaster Annual Forum and was serviced to by their dedicated Annualists and scheduled a date to play with Skinny Hippo and other members. My first schedule ran short on time, but it was no problem, another date was set up and ran smoothly and [i]quickly[/i] all the way through. It was great fun, so get your butt over to the homepage and join!

SIP were extremely helpful in getting Annual. And after that, it is such a great community to be a part of.

SIP has been great to me they helped me help my friends get anual i was suprised by there patience and skill but we were able to do it in around 30 minutes...saved me alot of time and frustration.. and after that they have been veary good friends...

Thanks to the Annualists I have completed 4 runs that were all fun, under 30 minutes, and gave at least one person in our group teh achievment

I have the utmost respect for what SIP is doing and how they have helped everybody but this is basically bumping.

I joined SIP after seeing them in the spot light a while back. I browsed around the forum a bit and finally introduced myself after a week or two. I didn't join for help with any of the achievements, but rather to be part of a fun and friendly community. Not too long after, a staff member realized that I did not have my annual done. They said that it was "unacceptable" that I didn't have it already after being there so long. They really do pride themselves in helping others achieve annual. It's no joke to them. While my annual run took a bit longer than most (because I SUCK at driving a ghost), we had a blast! I encourge everyone who is looking to join a group that is covered in awesomesauce, JOIN SIP! Not just for the achievement, but for all the laughs, good times and great friends =) SIP (in my opinion) is by far the best group on B.Net.

SIP is great for Annual, and other achievements too. One guy has done annual over 150 times. If you need help then join and get annual done quick, and stay for all the cool people =D

I joined [url=http://www.bungie.net/fanclub/sip/Group/GroupHome.aspx]SIP[/url] a couple months back planning on getting Annual and leaving. It's the honest truth. I posted in the forums that I needed the achievement. That same day I had the achievement after a run that lasted less than 20 minutes. Needless to say, I decided to stay in the group and have loved every minute of it. They are so much more than just Annual runs and are willing to help with any of your Halo 3 needs.

SIP helped me with my annual. I had no intention of staying in a group, all I wanted was help. But after I was help with my achievement, the great group and awesome thread kept me there. SIP is the most awesome group in Bnet. You gotta try it. 6100 members and counting. numbers dont lie.

I joined SIP just looking for help with the achievements and also for general H3 help. I've only owned the game since Dec. 08 and I only got my gold in March of this year so I had no idea what a vidmaster was when I joined. That is until 2 members of the annualist team guided me through Halo on Legendary with Iron on ghosts. It was very quick and very fun. From there, another member worked with me so I could finish the fight on Legendary and helped me with the skulls and terminals while he was at it. Then I became active on their well moderated forums and met up with a bunch of cool guys and gals that love to have fun. To be honest, if it were not for SIP, I would no longer play Halo online and I definitely wouldn't have bought all of the map packs. So give [url=http://www.bungie.net/fanclub/sip/group/joingroup.aspx]SIP a chance[/url] too, I promise you won't regret it.
