Why haven't you done the raid?
I haven't done the raid yetbecause for personal reasons I can't use a mic.

You don't need a mic to do the raid, for war priest, hang back and kill adds, let someone else get the brand and start DPS, when you finish with the brand and the oculus comes, go mid first, then right, then left, and if your teammates get enough DPS in... He's fked. For Golg, do the 4 orb strategy. stay out of the mid/pit, shoot the first orb, someone gets his gaze and you only need to do 4-6 orbs total to kill him, it is possible with 3 orbs if he is tethered, weapons of light with increased effects, and 5 spindles, for daughters, you need to hang back and kill adds and let the other 5 do all the work, then when the runner gets the relic and aura, go where your teammates go and start shooting. For oryx, you have to be the runner - simply find where he smashes his fist, grab the relic and start running. Then once you do DPS the first time (DONT FORGET ABOUT OGRE BLIGHTS (RUNNER DOESNT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THEM), start running on top of where the daughters used to be (Jump back and forth) to avoid the bombs/insta-kill bubbles that spawn on top of you, for the second-last round of DPS, he will spawn a huge bubble in mid, and you will be teleported into a weird area with a echo of oryx, start the DPS on the echo, eventually all 6 people will be inside and you kill the echo, then repeat that 1 more time, when he has 0 health, he will fall off the map and come back up in the front, all you gotta do is a tiny little bit of DPS to kill him. BAM, NO MIC METHOD!

My friends and I can usually get through 3 new players at a time in around 2 hours. 4-5 new players takes 3-4 hours depending. My next Sherpa raid is scheduled for Wednesday morning next week. I would recommend over 290 light, but we got a 260 through before. I would only recommend 290+ for a more enjoyable experience. Also a mic is recommended but I have also gotten a deaf players through using what's app. If I can't get you in a Sherpa raid I can put you in contact with other Sherpas. GT is raider1987 on xbl. Group of buddies can never manage to find time to raid anymore. Got black hammer, 293 light. Warlock. I've done raids before. Just need to find people who can do it when I'm on too.

8 RepliesComing from a guy who has done the raid 3 times now, if you are on the wall about doing the raid don't do it. You will get nothing from any of the bosses(I have beat them all several time and still have nothing to show for it) so don't give bungie the pleasure of playing this price of shit raid, just buy a bunch of 3 of coins and go farm strikes you get better drops that way or just go play other game one that isn't broken like destiny

1 ReplyI got to do it for the first time with three friends, a friends of one of those friends, and a guy we found on LFG. Was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had in this game. If anybody needs a team, message me and I'll see if we have a spot, we have absolutely no problem helping new people out. The only way "must have experience" requirements won't be a problem is if the community bands together and makes it so that EVERYONE has experience!

Tried to finish the raid last night but some people left as soon as we got to Oryx then had to get new randoms in and give it a go and we failed twice and people didn't have enough patience for some of us that haven't completed the raid yet! So I'm asking for a helping hand to try and complete it tonight around 9pm UK - 4-6pm USA (Depending where your from)! We have watched videos etc so know what to do and would say we are ok day one players (Completed VOG & Crota countless times)... just need a little guidance! So if anyone is feeling helpful and doesn't mind help out my and a friend tonight it would be much appreciated!! On Xbox One and GT is kenzie1990, thanks!!

3 RepliesI CAN do the raid, and I've done it 4 times already (3 times yesterday morning and the night before because why not? Also all 3 of those runs were on my hunter because it's the only character its light is high enough. Even if I transfer my raid weapons to my Titan, it's only a 277 or something)... I just USUALLY don't have much time because school and house work. So I usually raid at night.
