I agree, the main disappointment about the Nightfall rewards so far has been the low light level. There should be more drops at the 300+ light level. I actually wouldn't care if the drops were blue gear if they were 300+ light. There are plenty of legendary drops and even exotic drops at 280-290 light, but getting something at 300+ light to infuse onto the gear you like is crazy hard outside of doing the raid.

Good point! Frankly, rare gear at 300 or higher would be fine to infuse into all of the legendary and exotics I get at 280...lol

My same complaint about Iron Banner this month. 280 light? Are you effing kidding me? Absolutely 0 reason to participate this time. I am light level 296 right now. Raid ready. Iron Banner armor is literally, completely pointless. Not sure why Bungie went in that direction. Reason one of my friends who's light level is higher is doing Iron Banner this month is simply because he wants the cloak. Bfd. But hey, whatever makes him happy.

My light level is 295-297 depending on how I'm equipped. I'm doing IB just to see what kind of end of match rewards it drops. So far it has been pretty disappointing: mostly blue gear in the 260-285 light range. I got one legendary armor engram but it deciphered into nothing better that what I already had. My best drop so far was a blue shotgun of light level 299 which I can use to increase the light level of one of my secondary weapons. But my main secondary is already the 300 light Conspiracy Theory D that you can choose as one of the quest rewards. I'm only rank 2½ right now, so I'm hoping the drops get better once I'm at a higher rank. If they don't then this IB will really have been a waste.
