actually, the helmet wasn't made in halo 2, they had lots of advanced stuff that you'll only see in reach, because when reach was destroyed, so were all of their prototypes, and advanced equipment, and they do have mark VI in reach havent you seen the RvB trailer?

blade armor is just picture of mass effect 2 collecter armor you could get sued

like hell. first of all thats a pile of bull. if you read the novels youl know the mk6 has been invented just not introduced. second of al the mk v armor still has other permutaions like eva or eod its just they have different names and are a bit diferent. and lastly reach only takes place around 6 weeks before the events of halo asuming that the game does revolve around its destruction. after all weve seen that emiles helmet is basicly eva with a few tweeks so wy not have less advanced verions of the other armor permutaions.

the problem with spi is that the entiraty of the armor is difernt to the mjolnir not just the chest helmet and sholders. even the crotch is diferent

Bungie would have to ask permission from every single company that created said game or movie. Also, I don't think that rivaling fps would allow bungie to take their character from their games and put it in theirs. I think it would be good if you had an accessory slot(s) for example like the external cameras and gunbelts and whatnot. For the armour I'm partial to the E.V.A armour myself, ok granted it's a clear target for a sniper but I like it. More options for colouring is what I'd like to see which will add more customisation for perhaps each different item you have. The colourable weapons and vehicles that someone suggested would not bode well it would get slightly out of hand. Deffinately more armours for Elites, Halo 3 didn't have many. Perhaps after the initial game release make extra DLC armour to keep the game fresh Any way that's what I think. [Edited on 07.09.2010 4:28 PM PDT]

I'll start off with the fact that there will not be any of anybody's artwork or made up armor in the game. Unless there was a super duper contest like the emblem contest. But if they were going to do that, they would have done it by now. Oh, and I would love to see all of the armor from halo 3 back into reach. People probably won't use these simply because they aren't knew, but i'm sure that bungie would pimp them up a bit. And FINE if you think that bingie would not have them in the first place because of out-dated tech. Right now we don't know if that's the case. Oh and the councilor slash honor gaurd, abso-blam!-inglutly! that was absolutly with a -blam!- in it by the way. I would love to see that, and it would be awesome other than the head sticks out a lot. Oh em gosh! that would be awesome.

For one Im really glad to see the lag armor and knee armor they made; good stuff. All I want to know is: Kat's arm as armor (yes/no/maybe-so) [Edited on 04.21.2010 10:45 PM PDT]

The Mark IV Armor is so sick! There is no reason for Bungie to not put that in Reach, it goes well with the time-line!
