Bungie you made some bad calls today
Nerfing peoples black spindles that they had infused up to 310
Nerfing the amounts of weapon parts just as people were begging for more
Nerfing drop rates of coins and motes when you already got rid of the heroic strike for 9 strange coins, making it even harder
Bringing back iron banner with 280 level weapons and armor so there's no point in playing it
I mean COME ON. These are awful ideas. You're begging your players to quit.

Yup I agree these are big mistakes but as I said many times if people continue to buy all the dlc and pay for emotes this is going to get much much worse

13 Replies1. People were repeatedly warned not to do that. Anyone who was plugged-in enough to acquire the BS, was plugged in enough to have heard the warning...and ignored it. No sympathy. Bungie wasn't going to root through everyones arsenal trying to figure out which of the weapons were drops...and which were ones infused up from kiosk weapons (which came out at 300, rather than the 280 they were supposed to). 2. Agreed. This move makes no sense. I've been scrounging for weapon parts for months now. 3. Prison Elders. Stone cold easy way to get strange coins...and Petra is still handing out keys every week. Motes----Bungie is trying to get people to stop ignoring pub events while on patrol. 4. Agreed. IB really found its nich last year as a way for those players who couldn't raid....or were getting screwed by raid drop rates to "catch up". So IB really should be a way for those of us stuck in the 290s to start to get gear that can get us to light 300....and then higher once Hard mode raid drops. Having stuf drop at 280...and THEN restrict access to the materials to level them up and infuse them is a big nonsensical step backwards here. I really don't know what they were thinking on this one.

Bungivision has been making bad calls since day one. They NEVER fix things that would help a player. They only nerf nerf and nerf somemore. Its obvious they will do anything to extend play time artificially. On top of that they lie all the time. Enjoy your "smart" rng.

3 RepliesEdited by TRDoug: 10/14/2015 10:21:20 PMEverything they change, patch balance or add with ANY AND ALL dlc has increased the grind by reducing the amount of items drop, dismantle or are picked up. I've said it since the first patch and I'll say it again......... THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS TO BUNGIE IS HOW MUCH TIME WE SPEND PLAYING. All the nerfs, dropping iron banner gear at 280, searching for armor and weapons to infuse, sharing 200 marks between three classes instead of carrying 400 on each, killing field scout, shot package and range finder(all adds time in PvE which is what counts most to them), reducing how much motes, coins and weapon parts we can get along with removing the weekly heroic and any good loot drops from nightfall. They put checkpoints into nightfall and dropped kick to orbit, but with the new light level it's a pain in the butt grind that is not longer fun and takes even more time. Every dlc and update they've released, with the exception of house of wolves and etheric light, has greatly increased the grind, I can't wait to see the sweet changes that will come next....NOT!!

15 RepliesSo after playing IRON BANNER for 10 hours total from the past two days I have come to the conclusion that if you're not a Titan with Max intellect you are F U C K E D! Not just a little bit but full on. Going in first time I thought maybe the warlocks would be OP but NOOOOOO they are nothing compared to the cancerous hammer of SOL!!! Everything at the beginning seems alright and the teams are tied it seems kind of even then all of a sudden a Titan comes in with Hammer of Sol and now your team is down 1000 points. Then five seconds later you, right when you think it's over, it's not! ANOTHER TITAN WILL HAVE HAMMER OF SOL! And you now what's funny about this? The one thing that really gets me? I can't kill them unless I have my super! If you're a god at life and hit them in the head with a powerful sniper then you can kill them but good luck with that! I hope they fix this before I throw my entire Xbox out the window!

What is the point of IB when you then have to take that gear and infuse it with Raid gear...I don't want it.
