I just went into my first iron banner match against 5 titans on the other team. The problem is that every minute and a half to two minutes, I was getting a flaming hammer thrown at my face. Okay so then I decided to keep my distance and as soon as I sniped this guy in the head he goes all flaming Thor on me, gets an instant super shield and kills me just like foh. Vent over. But seriously, the sunbreaker's shield is too strong, you either have to have their health down before they activate their super or have 3 guys waiting with shotguns or snipers aimed at their face. The class is perfect in pve but it's unbalanced for pvp.

This is facts not opinion : A breakdown of super kills in PvP only :Hunter Gunslinger 190,777,669 (15.28%) Hunter Bladedancer 174,969,632 (14.01%) Titan Striker 156,269,948 (12.52%) Warlock Sunsinger 154,932,130 (12.41%) Hunter Nightstalker 142,156,284 (11.39%) Titan Defender 124,666,922 (9.98%) Warlock Voidwalker 116,239,024 (9.31%) Titan Sunbreaker 106,671,945 (8.54%) Warlock Stormcaller 81,881,398 (6.56%) And percentage of class usage: Warlock: 33.5% Hunter: 34.1% Titan: 32.4% Note the bolded numbers. Those are the three new subclasses starting from 9/15. Also, note where Sunbreakers are sitting compared to Nightstalker and the other subclasses. This proves that people aren't used to Titans being able to be a threat at a distance while super and they are now just crying about it. The entire sun breaker class is garbage anyways besides the hammers. Grenades suck and aren't useful, jump is the same as all the other three jumps. So stop crying . Data > your opinion
Spread the word. Also, it's the Hammer of Salt. Not "Handy Manny".

2 RepliesAnd I've played against teams of all 5 warlocks and teams of 5 hunters and its the same story. You wanna know how to beat a titan with a hammer? Jump and run dont try and shoot him just run
-
To bad you didn't have a team full of night stalker hunters then it would be a totally different ball game.
-
4 RepliesWhen I fight them they are OP but when I use my Titan and super I get killed in like 3 shots
-
Don't let those pussy titans stop you friend :)
-
14 RepliesYear 1 you could see a 6 team of hunters with blade dancer and gg and I didn't see you crying then

24 RepliesGuys I just want to point out that titans are meant to be damage sponging tanks, it's what they are meant to have over other classes. As striker and defender, depending on how you build it you can be incredibly hard to kill in your super, like unstoppable and armor of light. These two classes are less aggressive then sunbreaker. Now sunbreaker is still along the lines of what titans represent, but the only difference that sunbreakers have over defender and striker is that its an offensive tank class. A class where we hunt down the target instead of letting the target poke at us from a distance. Titans are meant to storm the battlefield just like hunters are suppose to be stealthy and quick. Going invisible and dodge rolling are examples of how bungie wanted hunters to be used. Stealthily sneaking up on people or getting out of situations that would spell death if you got caught. And this goes for warlocks as well. They are meant to have big and explosive crowd controlling magic. They are meant to reign down terror from either a distance or upclose and personally. Now then onto the super, I've been a titan since year one and a sun breaker since the launch of ttk. And the hammer doesn't have to be a 1 hit to other supers. And gg for example can be a 1 hit to sun breakers. It depends on your armor in your class. Titans that run max armor, which should be all of them in my opinion, are going to survive a lot of everything thrown at them. As it should be. But I've gone against storm callers running high armor and they needed 2 hammers to kill. Often times I don't get the second hammer off fast enough to kill them. If you run low armor expect to take big damage. And if your lucky enough to hit a nova bomber mid air, you better pray they don't have high armor or your not gonna kill them in time. Same for sunsingers. Golden gun has range over all other supers, requiring hunters to use their sharp shooting skills to gun down massive threats from a distance. Blade dancers that run high armor are just about as dangerous as sunbreakers aswell. Minus the hammer throw which is fairly easy to out last. And I don't even need to talk about how many times night stalkers have canceled out my super or cross mapped me with their bow. I guess what I'm saying is each class can be built to pierce another class, it's a matter of how you utilize your strengths and bulk your weaknesses

Just nightstalker the scrubs it will shut down their super.

2 Repliesreally all im seeing is full grps of goddamn hunters

6 RepliesEdited by CHILIDAWG343: 10/14/2015 3:29:27 AMThere's no thing as a shield for the Sunbreaker ability. Your mind just sped up faster than the game. EDIT: or you're making things up for purposes of your rant.

All these people talk about team shooting a Titan when he can easily just throw a hammer and regen his health, finish the team, and walk away like nothing happened.

Strafe jump.

The hammer can be countered. Surround him and snipe him with 2 or more people. But a team of 5 Titans? That's not right

1 ReplyHonestly, im just tired of all the "stop crying and saying nerf" people. Look pal my friend is your photo copy, he slide shotguns, with shot package of course, and no doubt while using hammers to crutch his way to the top of the leaderboards. And when word gets out about a nerf that leaves the fate of the match up to skill and strategy, he flips shit and cries to everyone that the old, more balanced factors become usable again, and guess what, nobody cares. Stop crying and learn that the skill is from the player and although there are ways to counter a hammer, four sniper headshots, are not balanced. Weaken the hammer in pvp not pve and all you cripples who fashion crucible crutches out of shotguns, red deaths, and hammers. Just do the community a favor and shut up. Thank you if you read this far before hate commenting, they probably didnt ;)

1 ReplyWho ever designed the new Titan subclass gave no thought about pvp balance. Let me give an example. The titan hammer one shots a bladedancer with full health, but a bladedancer needs 2-3 hits to kill the Titan... Makes sense especially blade dance super is melee range...
-
2 RepliesWhat is a kill streak? Killing multiple people before you die right? My Iron Gauntlet bounty isn't registering my kill streaks in IB. Just had a 5 streak going last round and still 0/10. What did I miss?
-
21 RepliesYou're not supposed to be able to kill someone when they're in their super... Unless your using your super as well.
-
1 ReplyPlayed 3 matches last night. Died to one Hammer and five Shadowshot. Should I make a nerf Shadowshot post?
-
1 ReplyI dumped 15 rounds into a hammer bro this morning with the raid mg. He just walked away like I wasn't even there.
-
Wrong

7 RepliesMy sun breaker Titan died most to blade dancing hunters last night in pvp. One round I only got two kills all together with my super because the other players were really good at dodging my hammers (I have flame seeker and pyre active) Just like I was told last year when I complained about the OP hunters .... Get good.

1 ReplyIdk it's hard to say for sure. I was a bit pissed today when I was blade dancing a Titan, 1/2 step away, mid blade swipe, and he activated and threw a hammer in the blink of an eye. 100% of people would believe me if they saw it. Could have been lag maybe, idk. I gotta say, for me, I feel the weakest in my hunter now. They are still fun, but if I was doing a hard pvp bounty, the hunter would be my last choice. Just my opinion.

That's what I'm saying. Hammers all over the place. Still managed to do okay but it was not a very fun experience.
